PSP 3000 - OFW 5.55..... ISOs?

Just picked up a psp 3000 today, came with OFW 5.55 loaded, my goal is to be able to play backups (mine obviously).

I understand the concepts of modding a console, I modded xboxs for a few years.

I realize there is always 1000 of these threads, but all info seems data with some sources saying its impossible and some saying it is.

So as of right now is there anyway to do this?

3000 - possible if you have firmware 5.03 or below

Above 5.03 - it is not possible - so far . . .

Bunk bunk bunk,

any word on a team working on exploits these days for the 3000? I can probably lend a solid hand in finding a new exploit.. just need a kick start... links appreciated if anyone knows...

hi i got psp 3004 with v5.01 and i purchased a 16gb orignial sony card i wanna install this i wud appricate if any one can help me out on messnger thx :) coz im confused and can i play d.lodable games on it then?and after installing hen do ive to keep ma psp always on?can i even play games on umd later on or not after this hacks?thx for help :)
