PPA3xx does work.. it took me quite awhile to figure it out.. ppa player.. it can play mkv movies in fullscreen on the psp.. and full movies for the psp in perfect quality, and file sizes are less than 400mb in size when useing the mkv format.. Simply download the mkv player and copy the folder PPA3xx on your memory card in your psp to psp/game/PPA3xx.. here is a download of the most recent ppa player specifically compatible with CFW 6.20-6.60.. also included in the download is the program used to convert movies and settings to make your own mkv movies in perfect quality for your psp with file sizes below 400mb!

Tested on CFW 6.20 and CFW 6.60.. And tested it on a PSP fat 1000 and a tested on a psp slim 2000.. It does work.. but finding the exact encoding settings for it to play on the PSP was very hard.. I didnt find any tutorials so it took many hours of trial and error and right when i was going to give up.. I figured it out.. I could tell you the settings I used but it will be different for the video encoder you use.. so you can download the one I used and the settings I used in the link at the bottom..

Assuming you have 6.20-6.60.. and installed it on ur psp memory card properly then dropped your video files in your video folder.. then select the player in your game list and choose the video to play.. It will say now loading then start playing your movie.. if it says now loading then quits back to the menu.. you didnt encode it properly for the PSP.. If it never says loading and just exits the player.. then you are useing the wrong PPA3xx player or the wrong CFW.. Try this one in the link below.. promise it will work awesome..
