psp auxiliary problem

i have got a problem with my psp auxiliary port.
when i plug in my earplugs, the sound that comes is blur and we can hear only the beats with a bass.
i tried changing the earplugs and the music as well but nothing worked.
the psp service center says that they camt help and that ive got wrong earplugs.
i tried original earplugs too. my psp firmware is 6.31 and its psp 1000.
do i have to change the auxiliary port or is it a software problem???
please help....
