psp not reading all umd's

I bought fifa 12 for my son's psp 3000 but the game would not load. When the umd was inserted and the'start' button pressed the screen goes black and there is just a constant clicking sound. The game was replaced by the seller and the new one is doing the same and since this two of his other games and one of his movies that were working are now doing the same thing but he has three other games that work perfectly. Can anyone offer me any advice? Thank you
