yo, im no noob or anything and been playing iso's since months ago, but im having trouble with this one i downloaded...it came into 7 parts and some other files...wtff?i need help, thanks

on the first file right click and select extract here or extract to...what is the extension of the file? rar? iso? file?

oo nvm, i got it working on my psp, i just extracted all the files untill i got to the final iso. but um another question...y is there 7 parts...and probably 7 iso's in each 2...?

Hey guys I'm new to this forum and I am having trouble setting up Fastloader V0.08(AKA UMDEMULATOR). I have read every message in the post to the T. I have tried sticking in the demo UMD that came with the PSP and Lumines in to boot the iso loader, but have had no luck. I think I have my folders setup properly but when I load Fastloader it won't show the cogs(spikey wheels)in the background. It's just a black screen with the different settings and the iso I have saved in the iso folder doesn't show. I am using firmware 1.5 and my folders are setup as so:

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

simpy1972... my folder structure does look like that except for i do not have a config.dat file... it did not come with my download of fastloader...

Hey guys. I must say I am new to the psp homebrew scene (despite having luckily purchased my 1.5 first day thankfully being a noob i never updated) but I must say the forum goes here are quite knowledgeable from what I have read. I just recently started to get into the ripping iso thing. My dilemna is similar to another post i saw. I cannot seem to get umd emulator .8 to work it boots up but freezes instead of umds initializing. I also do not see any background just settings (gears i guess it is supposed to be?). Additionally and faqs or tutorials on how to actually rip a back up umd would help as well thx also my email is seantorres@gmail.com

does any1 know what version ur psp can be and fastloader still works?
And does using an iso and fastloadere brick or harm ur psp in any way?

The config.dat file should be created by the application itself upon 1st run.

seanp2005, i'm just about to hit the sack, it's 2.30 am xmas mrning (merry xmas by the way lol) but if you go here, www.psp-hacks.com, they have all you require, both the programs and the know how, sorry for the lazy reply , but i;m tired and have been drinking all day lol. hope that helps, there guides are great and the dowload section is good too.
Triffstar, you need 1.5, it's been mentioned numerous times thru the thread, and no, it won't brick your psp, if you have a 2.0 you can easily downgrade it, again s/ware and know how in the link i posted above for sean, i'm crashin, merry xmas everyone. o<8^D>

Apologises if this has been posted before, but once i try to convert my fcd file to an iso file, i keep a rar file containing the PSP_Game and .bin files again.. about to through the psp out the window >.<

hey obitus that rar file is the one u put in the iso folder
i had the same problem for 3 nights just put the whole rar file into the iso and it should work

I have a PSP that has 1.52 firmware and not able to get fastloader 0.7 to work. It comes up with a error that the game is not able to help. any clue?

hey dude with the 1.52 iso only work on 1.50 need to upgrade to 2.0 then use downgrader to 1.5 hope that helps....

i just got a question for games that come in parts. i dled metal gear acid 2 n it came in like 24 parts so i follow the instruction open the first one then extract the iso file to the iso folder but it didn't work. do i hav to extact all 24 iso arts to the iso folder?

some one plz help me out i have worked with 3 emulators fastloader, umd emulatorv0.8 and nesterj but my iso files are still not working on fastloader it shows the file but says "please insert any umd!".
