the only thing i have to suggest is follow the video posted earlier in the thread and make sure you follow it exactally, other than that i never came across that problem so im not 100% sure how to fix it

i need to choose between conexao local or nintendo adapter conncetion to set as shared...
i can set only one as shared... and then i choosed the area connection... its now being shared, but the nintendo one not
set the conexao local as shared and nintendo adapter as not being shared and try to see if the wii will connect to the net now
i tryed... and nothing... i think theres installed buffalo drivers, and nintendo is using the buffalo driver, or something like this...
because that problem started after the buffalo installation...
is there a way to delete ALL the drivers?
or the problem is of the dns or something like that...

I get the "Unable to connect to the wireless lan card. The tray icon will be loaded once the card is inserted."
Is there something I'm missing somewhere?....I followed the steps...and well they get me here...
Note: This is on the Run The Control Center part right after selecting the second option

well, i got it to work after reformatting and reinstalling windows, but now after using it for about 15 minutes it gets realllly hot and stops working. is there something that I can do to make it work for more than 15 minutes? if I leave it plugged in for like 24 hours, it starts smoking.

well, after thinking a little bit, i decided to use an usb extension cable and put it in my mini-fridge. now it seems to work fine and doesn't get hot. but i did lose a lot of signal strength though. :-). do you think that it is harmful for it to be in such a cold environment?

Hi everyone I am running a Vista so everything goes smooth sailing until I install the Asus Wlan control center which by checking its compatibility is only for Windows XP. Because of that I cant pass step 4. (Then click Start -> All Programs -> ASUS Utility -> WLAN Card -> ASUS WLAN Control Center.) if I were to try and run it i would get a "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). Click on OK to terminate the application. "
So is there a way people running Vista can do this???
HELP PLEASE

I am also running Vista and am getting the *exact* same error. It would be great to get this hack running on Vista, as the Nintendo Wi-Fi program is full of bugs -- it works for my two Wiis but will not work for my DS. I do not want to switch my router from WPA2/AES back to WEP, as my neighbors (no kidding) are trying to hack into my router!
