Hey folks...

I thought it would be nice to let everyone know how Matt84's problem turned out on the other thread. He solved his problem with a defrag. He also changed his page file to 4000 MB min/max. He now has 5 successful backups behind him. He's one happy camper!!!

I've fopund that the problem can be found in the media itself.

Sometimes a disc just cannot be backed up.

no explaination - bummer i know

There is usually an explanation. One sometimes has to do some detective work or learn more about what's going on in the recording process. Sometimes though, one can be more comfortable not knowing.
