Pity,
You told him that.Anyway you know well the situation.Anyone selling clone boxes probably wouldn't have refunded you anyway,or the best you could have got was another clone.

Hi,
I live in Navan and I have Ch**us and the Eurovox Max 07 box with the Feb 07 software. I have tried all the different variations listed on this thread and none have worked. I have thought about the different keys used, as in Nagravision, and thought this might be where the problem lies. Any thoughts? Your help would be appreciated thanks.

I presume you have used 6875 instead of 6887 symbol rate.Ring Chorus to make sure digital cable is in your area.

Hi vardus,
Yeah I used 6875. As far as I am aware it is digital. In the Manual Scan menu the "quality" is shown as 82%. I presume this is signal strength? Some of the guys at work have them, but they all work off N*L in Dublin.
I have been told however that Ch**us uses different software, I would have said different settings, as in keys, but completely different software I would doubt.

Sorry vardrus, what I meant to say was, I have used 6875 and 6887. I have gone through the posts here and tried quiet a lot. I am running out of ideas and patience. A work mate got a box from the same guy and it works fine on N*L in Dublin, so I doubt it's the box.

Hi Guys, just got my 2008 and is working fine, the widescreen issue is still there with no 16/9 full screen, have to say its much quicker than its 2006 brother, but apparently its the same as the 2007 software anyhow....
Sound is superb have to say and picture, working very well with n*l

I had a problem with mine last night (17/07/07) (Eurovox max v)...it lost all channels (picture break up) and kept saying no signal...I cleared data and rescanned still found the channels but all were still the same and they didn't have names just ch1 etc etc
I then connected the cable back to my Samsung box and got an Ld:20 error which apparently is no signal...it came back on later in the evening, so maybe it was a network issue....tv now back and working, I will have a go at the eurovox again tonight, hope it was nothing it did ???

hi all
It appears that the basic ch$$$$ cable is down at the moment where i live on the northside of dub. All should hopefully be fine when it comes back on.
