did you set the permission to the file to 755 - if you dont then you give write permission to the file and next time you reboot the file is overwritten
you need to set the permission or chmod to 755 in order to remove write permission and this will fix your problem.

Im hoping ill get an answer here as my threads seem to be ignored. Im trying to apply the fixes suggested here and I have run into a few roadblocks.
First I tried the manual key entering fix. this didnt seem to do anything at all.
So I have tried downloading the nagra7.bin file that was suggested. This seemed to work for about a second and then went off. i have heard that this can be caused by having both nagra 11 and 7 enabled, unfortunatly I cant find any setting to disable 11. I have looked in the evocamd and nagravision menu and found nothing. Is there some kinnda .txt or .conf file I can just ftp out and edit?
Also whats this about a new image? is this a one stop fix for all these problems? if so please can someone point me in the right direction.
Please please please reply or PM me ASAP, im depserate to get it back on before the match starts!

delete or rename the nagra11 file - this will disabled it, this is what I did.

hi could anyone help im trying to get an image on a dbox that wont load, im using dbox 2 flashing assistant with a null modem cable and a cross over cable and it defo starts the process but then stops after about 40 secs to a min with the following message,
lcd open - can't open lcd
writing backup: 1152k von 8064k (14%)nfs: server 192.168.150.205 not responding,
still trying

please does any one know what im doing wrong or if this can be sorted cheers any and all help is much apreciated, nickyg.

I had thought about that, unfortunatly it hasnt worked. Im not sure if its a case of it not disabling the rom or if thats not the issue. But either way im kinnda stummped, any more suggestions.

Henty, following your thread.
Started evocamd.
Did this part "If you use tuxbox commander and go to your keylist.txt file, don't open it just press 4 on the remote to edit it, delete everything from it. (Red button on most). Exit then save."
when i rebooted i went to sk* sports and the then tuxbox commander keylist file (this time i have no lines at all?
What next shall i rescan?

damn...i have mine sup n running using the manual keys,its working fine.

i have the image flashing assisiant,and i hav ethe dbox guide for dummies,and a fxp programme...but i havent a clue what to do.
im ok with flashing full images etc,but i dont know how to transfer thisn "bin" file to the dbox.
on the "guide for dummies"pdf,it seems long winded for transfering ftp to the box.It was the same as when i didnt know how to flash a dbox,i was gettng told to look at the "guide for dummies" when all that was needed was someone explaining it in english,and within 5 minutes i had flashed my box.
any help would be appreciated,i have the niagra fle,i would like that comand centre 1.0 programme,that looks as though it would be really really easy to use,but im stuck just now on what to do.

Can anyone help me !! ive got a sagem dbox when i switch it on it just comes up with a frozen green screen and on the screen it says :

right peeps am back again all so doing my head in...i see some people got theres working with the fix from oggnogg is this for everyone from all areas? am using nokia dbox 2 sportster pro it be good if someone who dun it do a step by step exactly what they dun like for example if the box got be on certain channel what lead did you use and so on ...it would be so much appreciated and if i get mine working i will help as much as i can for others ...thumbs up for all who is helping....THANKYOU

flashing image is alot easier than ftp ing to your box.
Hardest part is getting your box and pc talking to each other if you follow the dummies guide you should be ok,once ur box is connected to your pc youll be flying.

Hi
i wonder if someone could be a gent and help me.
I was recieving all my channles on d-box until yesterday i had to dicsonnect the main power to the box as I was doing decorating. But connecting it all back I went to turn it on a found out that I had no channels. i have tried doing a scan and out the new codes in but am having no success with it.
Please can someone help me and instruct me what I need to do and where am going wrong.
I would be very grateful.....

just switch off (no power) the box and go back to key list make note of the keys.then delete and start again and then check the keyand alter just one( mine was 1 to 9) andsave and reboot only

hello there,i know how to flash an image,but how do i flash this particular BIN file to the dbox?and to the particular section it needs to overwrite?
1)i have my pc already set up to talk to the dbox.
2)i start image flashing assisatant,(the dbox is turned off at this point?)
3)where doe sthe bin file go?
