any help that could at least get me up & running 2day would be very much appreciated THE FOOTYS ON AT 4!!

STEP 1: First press the blue button on the remote, choose Sportster (or blue button again), go to EMU settings (or blue button again) and choose EVOCAMD. Press green or go to EMU/Autoupdate. This just adds a toolbar to your internet explorer. Make a note of these for the next step. This will hopefully tell you the code whichever area you live in.
STEP 3:
1 - press the blue button on your DBOX - and go to option 2 Tuxbox commander.
2- then scroll down to the option that says "var" and press ok
3- scroll down to "keys" and press ok
4- scroll down to "keylist.txt and press 4 (to edit)
5- If your like me and are in the Pure NTL area your codes will start like N 5401 01 etc etc, press ok on the 1st key which starts with N 5401 00
6 - Now use the codes you got from Biqmaq in step 2: Type in this number after 00 and the 01. i.e. overwrite the number after the 00 or 01 using your remote control. (it takes a while to get the knack of it).
7 - Press ok to exit then press home. It will ask you if you want to save, choose yes. Press home again and again save if asked until you are back to the normal screen.
Note: The screen will still be black at this point.
STEP 4:
Now press the blue button, go to Sportster (or blue button again), choose EMU SELECTION and press red or ok to restart the EVOCAMD, a confirmation message will be shown. Now your picture should appear. If not try to restart and then it should appear.
This is what I did and it worked for me. Good luck and many many thanks to everyone that helped me get my dbox working again. I really really appreciate it.
i done this step by step and it has been on since friday night

Hi Everyone
I have managed to get my DBOX working again thanks info supplied by billie22.
Can anyone advise how to organise the channel listings.. at present BBC1 is number 22, SKY Sports1 number 218.. etc.. Tried / Service Menu / Refresh Channel List but this did nothing.
Someone suggested Bouquet Editor but I wasn't sure how to use this?

go to main menu no 5 service
go to bouguet editor ok
go to sports press ok
then press green (add)
scoll down and add all sports by pressing ok
when you'v added all your sports do the same again on all others
at the end press red to save.

it easy when you know how....

Hi all I can say is go to this link

look at the pure ntl code( sorry I was told I am not allowed to show you them)but you will see what the codes should be and what your codes are upper or lower case change them to what bigmaq tells you remember to do the upper or lower case that you see there,then try to follow this:
first I download bigmaq toolbar that gave me the codes

The ERROR 550 can relate to your TCP settings

I can't see why TCP would be a problem, just tried on a different machine (an ibook). To recap, I can't edit keys (or anything else) on the box (via TuxBox commander) if I change it, when I come back it hasn't changed. If I try and delete anything it gives me an error (unknown error 256). I can FTP in ok, but again it wont let me edit or copy, and changing file permissions also gives an error (SITE CHMOD 550). Is there a way I can change them on the box?

hi can anyone tell me how to unlock the key on sportster pro 1.10 image.
i have entered the keys and rescaned, i have all channels but the free ones are working and rest have padlock picture which tells me they are locked. how do you open them please let me know asap.

Hi Guys
Can someone help me.
Setting up my dads box since the crash and I can relate to where the codes go in but in this list he has 3 codes in already, two of them I can change to what they should be but the third one is rom10 should this one be deleted?
Also people speak of the reboot button-where is this?
I can save the changes to the codes and when I go back in they are saved but I cannot find where to reboot the box.
If someone has a description of how to do this for dummies (that's me) then I can give it a go.

I think I may see your problem, forget the codes you had them correct but look at the ROM10 in the second code change it to ROM7 , this is what people are saying change the rom 10 to a rom7

how do you unlock channels in sportster pro 1.10 some free work but others have padlock key which you have to open. please let me know asap. i have asked many times but no one is replying to my questions. PLEASE HELP ME

I can't see why TCP would be a problem, just tried on a different machine (an ibook). Make sure after adding the codes you press the home button for the opyoin to save the new keys

What did you mean by this and how do you do it?
Did you make sure the Evocam is the only enabled plus the nagra 7 rom the rest disable
And What did you mean by this and how do you do it?
Did you disable all the roms except Nagra rom 7 and set your cam to Evocam plus make sure u reboot the EMU & Cams before rebooting after rebooting add the codes in the keys section

Yes your correct in all i said but just dont have to reboot after settings you just meantioned after you add the codes reboot it plus if your asking on how to do it its on on the remote different images have different setups to add my files are based on the Adromea image sorry for the slight confusion buddy
