also the rev is not rubbish they are playing it smart they are letting xbox and ps3 fight out their battle, so basically anyone who owns an xbox 360 or ps3 can have a rev on the side b/c its cheap and cool.

I saw a crazy thing online about the nintendo virtual boy kinda helmet that plays games and has attachable sunglasses that acts like a screen and it loads a cd through the slot in the helmet part. I dont know maybe its fake who knows.

Their is a very similar sounding piece of hardware out, that comes with sunglasses that project images.
Basically, it can make 3d modelled images appear along with what you are actually looking at. The coolest thing I seen was that it projected apples along the street, and you had to run along collecting them like Pacman!
It is also used for large scale 'virtual' treasure hunts, v.cool.

nah the helmet thing he is talking bout is a fake, it showed mario on it also and stuff. But it is a fake it appered a few weeks b4 actual rev was shown off so it got some attention.

well if you play a lot of OpenGL games then Nvidia cards are/always have been faster with those games.
but as for the ATI flagship cards against their flagship Nvidia equiviliants (X180XT PE and GTX512 for e.g.) the ATI cards won in over half of the direct3D games, and direct 3D games are more than 90% of games currently out (and that come out).
thats why its considered getter.
BUT personally people only need to get what they want.
if you play a LOT of openGL games then obviously get an Nvidia card.
But ultimately just get the card which catched your attention most, and makes you tingle with excitement when you think about buying it.
thats what. its about what YOU need.
you were right about that part anubis.
and the flagship cards of both are VERY expensive for what they do.
yes they are really good, but even the best cards are bad value.
simple really.
(unless you have a deep wallet and strong ambitions about having the very best out at the min.)
Don't judge the consoles by specs, more isnt always better, espec in PS3 specs.i know the truth, ask if u wanna know.......
Do not compete without valid correct technicality on your terms of the argument.

the 2006 line up for xbox 360 looks awesome, its starts with games like oblivion and fight night and ends up with games like mass effect and too human. can not wait.

I'm honestly surprised by the number of original games in production. Not seen anything like it for years. Nintendo has the right name for their console, cos that's whats happening!

original games arnt always the best. i like to know what im getting when i buy a game. i have all the story mode crash bandicoots and the first ctr. i have ut99-04 and im gettin 07. final fantasy..i've played almost every one, 3 7 8 and 9 being my faves. i've owned timesplitters 2 and future perfect, but i want to first one some time. i played all the tony hawk pro skater games up untill 4, the other were not great, too much not skating things and unfun levels and areas. gta3, vice city, san andreas, all great (san adreas was 19 dollars at best buy today..how odd). max payne 1 and 2, i hope to see 3 for the ps3. i could go on, but i wont. its the good old faveorites that make me buy a game. ill buy a new game if i here good things and play it, but i dont want them all to be new. i like continuation and story line mixings of your favorite games.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

Most people prefer new and original, to old and reliable.
That'a why everyone is buying, or planning to buy next gen consoles!
I have to be totally honest and say (I understand that most won't agreee with this part) that - I would prefer Final Fantasy, Gran Turismo, Tekken, Devil May Cry et.c etc. etc. Where all scrapped to make way for a new line of games covering all their predeccesors genre's and quirks.
E.g. Gran Turismo.
Rather than working from 4 and updating it to make vision. They could scrap the GT name and look at making a gam and inputting new ideas from the bottom up.
Yes, it's true that recognised names sell, and working from previous installments make's it easier but, when will it be time to start again? I don't want to be playing Final Fantasy 40, Grant Turismo 19 or Fight Night Round 200,000.

but if you arnt some dufus, u get attached to characters or certain aspects. like halo fans to the mc, or crash b fans. a new system doesnt have to mean all original games. if i like certain gameplay, id like to see it again, not it being ditched for something new that wont probably make me as happy. sure they have to die sometime, but u cant dis it for having seriesed game or the ppl who like then.

ok anubis you are trying to get at us like you did with the bluray, look oedekerk said was that there are many new games comeing out and you have said that new games are not always good but the thing is we are also getting old games like ff opnline, halo 3 gta4 at the same time as it comes out on the ps3, stuff like that. we were only pointing out that the xbox 360 has lots of new games coming out no need to jump on us for saying that.
