In the long run the lavish features that the PS3 will have. And these guys that are so excited to get there hands on a PS3 for these reasons. Don't be surprised if Sony follows Microsoft in releasing different PS3 options at launch. A core PS3 and a Premium PS3 with all the bells and whistles. And when it comes down to it ?Money talks and bull shit walks.? A good percentage of you guys will shell out for the cheaper bundle.

Just to go back on one of anubis's points. Those features of the PS3 I said Sony should be removed to save cost is a resonable idea. Again think of the masses and not you. what percentage of people will own 2 HDTV's? What percentage of people will own 1080p HDTV's? Who many people will use that many usb ports? Who will use all those different memory card slots? How many people will use the wirless internet?
Dont get me wrong, quite a few people us those things like the wireless internet but not the majority, therefore they should be removed to reduce cost and be sold as an addon.
Secondaly. Anubis do you know the difference between HD-DVD and Blur ray? Well one difference is one is 50gb and the other 30gb. So if this was the only difference then wouldnt HD-DVD be disregarded as a media format?
No, becuase this is not the only difference. There is one more big difference. HD-DVD is significantly cheaper to make than blue ray.
Anyway I dont even know why iam argueing these points to you when you come up with stupid things that have no evidence like langueges and other countries.

how many of us dont like wifi? i mean look at the controllers. i could plug my ps3 into any tv anywhere basically and use the net there. say a friends, a library, a school, a hotel, etc etc. its not expensive to make a wifi reciever.
and yes i know the two.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

Blueray would probably only add 100$ to the ps3
So 100$ + 360 and you get the price.
450-500$

plus the ps3 already includes it, meaning you dont have to deal with extra cords and such and the hastle of ignoring the main drive.

there wouldnt be much of a difference between ps3 core and premium if they were to do that since they arent selling a hardrive right away. plus its already been said that there 80gig hardrive would be used for movies, pictures, mp3's and such. so you wont beable to use the hardrive for the games anyway. point being that they wouldnt have 2 packages.

Richi Rich here. Holly Sh** where do I begin?? I guess I should be cryin in my HDTV soup cause Ive just been informed that my first 3 HDTVs with DVI are only 480P, and my 4th with HDMI is the only true 720p due to Brodcast restrictions. Are u on CRACK or from another contry(not USA)?? I guess FOX is lyin whin they say "Broadcast in 720P" before the Packers games.
Next, if a Blu-ra player is runnin $1000 and the PS3 comes out @ $500-$600 do u think it wont sell?? Let me remind u of all the people who say the 360 @$400 is too damn much, but last time I checked I still cant find one cause every damn one is sold within an hour of delivery.
And last, I might be wrong (I often am) but didnt MS say HD-DVD was there format (for all new Vista computers) due to there hard-on over copy protection?? Side note: You'll have to condense an HD movie to get entire disc on a blank HD-DVD disc,(for back-ups only...of course) not Blu-ra. And for the same reason 8.5 discs are so $$/The Movie Studios..
Oh and how much is Sony going to really save by not putting on some of the extras for the future?? and who dicides if that future is 2 years away or 3months after launch?? Sony does..

Im pretty sure that ps3 WONT cost 600$.
Well why, The gefore 7800x512mb costs 700$ and the PS3 RSX probably costs 100-200$ more, because its arround 10-30% better.
Therefore
MY conclusion is that blueray will add another 100$ to the xbox360's price, making ps3 500$
THERE DONE NOW PLEASE CAN WE STOP THIS ARGUEMENT?

Yeah. Please stop this argument over Blue ray and price, its getting on my nerves.

they keep saying spring 2006 in general but they look like they might move it back to as late as november. Not likely though considering that if it did release that late it would have 2 consoles that have had time on the market to face instead of just one. But when they say spring 2006 they don't say whether thats in japan or america or both. Kinda hoping thats what you meant by being shown.

Yea I heard of that. It was in that issue that showed the fake pictures of the ps3. I never heard from it sense, but it said that you could download games and play them on tv.
ps3 with 20gb hard drive
xbox 360 premium edtion with vga/hd hook up to my dell 20.1 inch widescreen lcd.
White and black 1.5 psp's
I'll take this down WHEN micro$oft decides to stop being lazy and make the capcom fighting games backwards compatible with the 360 dammit!!!

Has anyone ever heard of the discover console? They had showed it on t.v. a while ago. It was supposed to automatically play pc games. I really wanted one of those.

those are good but i have seen better in game pics for gears of war, and when it comes out it should be polished up a little more thats what they said.

lovely jubbly. that new BF 2 game looks good, and i got BF2 and special forces expansion for the PC, VERY good game(s).
i play on it all the time.
aww man, *imagine* if gears of war for some god dam but *welcome* reason had 6 threads, and was made to utilise each thread to its very max, putting the 360 on full 100% strain, every drop of power sucked up and put into the game.
it would be AWSOME AS FK. and the detail and framerate, would both be staggeringly high. (awsome detail at more than very very playable framerates).
*i want* me-me-me, all MINE!!!!! (if it was out)

well im selling my pc officially for 375. then ill throw in my other cash, and my mom will throw ing 300, for a nice pc. and after BF1 i didnt want to play BF2. BF1 was nice for quite some time but then it became soooooo repetative.

i have never played battlefield 1942, it was said to be good in multi-player.
what PC are you selling. what were its specs.
Don't judge the consoles by specs, more isnt always better, espec in PS3 specs.i know the truth, ask if u wanna know.......

Or get a new power supply appx. 400w or better.
You dont even notice the loss, since nothing needs that much ram anyway.

Japanese gaming companies always release their systems in Japan first then the rest of the world 3-4 months later. PS3 is not even released in Japan yet and we are basically 3 months before Spring now. I got mine 360 before Christmas and was lucky enough to get it at $399.99, not $700-$1,000 like some people paid. That is plain stupid to pay 3 times the amount for a system.
