Ive read through this thread and I am aware of using the ds wifi adapter to use psp online but can this method also be used to let my daughters laptop access the web via it also?

silaslang, ANYTHING that uses Wifi can use it, it makes it a free for all access point just like if you had a router acting as an access point.

Is there anyway to format my regular cruzer mini 1.0 GB flash drive to support wii internet? its works with my other PC's but wont support wii. I was thinking extracting the files already in the original wifi usb into my usb. I already have the software. Could this possibly work?

Loaderror thanks for that info, I will give it a go this week.
Knuck1ez , your normal usb stick has no way of transmitting so that wont work.

I don't see any reason this wouldn't work on any wifi connection as long as your links are followed as in this tread. The nintendo connector seems to be fairly strong with in 20 to 25 feet. Not to bad for $35.00 bills Canadian with similar products ranging from $50 to $100 dollars. Two thumbs way up!!! Now if I could figure out how to share the same connection with the ds and psp without having to switch from open (psp) to shared (ds) anyone?

Everytime I try to "update" the driver, a window pops up that says "The software you are installing for this hardware:
Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector
has not passed Windows logo testing to verify it's combatibility ...........".
I was watching your lovely video, but there it says BUFFALO and a bunch of other stuff. What could I have done wrong?

If you follow the instructions to a "t" you should have no problem. Can you tell me what sort of problem you have ran into? Remember after installing the drivers insert the wifi and windows will install the drivers for you...after finding new hardware.

maxcc just uninstall the buffalo drivers , restart, reinsert the usb wifi and when it asks for drivers use the nintendo cd. This will restore it so just teh ds accesses the net.

Sorry but I must have mistaken "SHIZ" as something else!
Either way you still should follow the instructions...I still can't figure out what the problem would be with installing a disc into the cd rom and letting windows do it for you !!
Ta Ta Turtleman.
Cheers, WD.
