I have been watching this thread for the last few days & read every single reply, I wasn't going to get involved, On the hope that my order would get sorted, like most here I placed an order on 7th December
Order #23973 (Processing)
Order Date: Friday 07 December, 2007
2 x R4DS - V2
- Add microSD Card in: 2GB microSD x2
Now I looked up a who-is of model gadget & other related sites and noted the address & telephone number, hmm Mr Chan!
Anyway I will not waffle on, & express how I feel, as I have tried to do that on there site, after all why should I have to come here to get an answer, it's an absolute mess......I tried to make a review and it was deleted, |I thought the point of reviews, was to show other users an exact and honest opinion.......
Anyway let's get a response please a private one will do about my order.......
& can we have some respect to the customers that trusted you in the first place, to come here on another site to try and get answers, that to me shows real lack of respect and customer service, Correcting your own mistakes doesn't get a sympathy vote from me, learn from this devastating error on how you have your site hosted, managed & software used!
Alan - Now please can I have my order sorted......

Alan mate take a chill pill
the R4 is in demand this month and its not his fault everyone has flooded him with purchases in the last week.
he is trying to sort out everyone's orders, so by al means if you want to contact him about your order then do so if your concerned and have a query.
I'm sure you'll have your order next week and im sure you'll soon forget his hard work these past few day because once you have your R4's there will be no recognition for him by you.
and if you didn't like this forum then why post here you should have called him personally, mike is a genuine nice guy and im sure he would have appreciated your call....

I placed Order Number: 24116 on 8/12 for a M3 simply and 2Gb micro sd and haven't seen any dispatch notice, could you let me know when it will be sent.....

Hi i think this is my last and final attempt at getting a reply from Model-Gadget, i like other members are having problems, i ordered 2 R4DS cards and 1 2GB MicroSD card on the 10th Decemeber and i paid through Worldpay at a cost of £64.48

But when i log into my account it says i have ordered

which i haven't ordered, aswell as this there is a major security issue on the site whenever i bring the site up on the web it says LOGOFF when i haven't logged in, i click on my account and it gives me someone else's order details including address, this has now happened 6 times, i would be grateful for a reply.

Firstly, i was beginning to think there was no such site as model-gadget.com (thought it was a bogus site to fleece people). Anyway...
Mike, i have sent numerous emails via the online store and your paypal store with one reply weeks ago from you saying "ill look into it" since then no reply. i didnt make an account and did a one time order payed via world pay. world pay order details :

I done a whois search on there domains, try that it gives some interesting info.

I hope all people that made older orders do get there goods, I wonder how many actual customers out there that don't know about this thread, it is very worrying, that some of us are here trying to get our goods, that's why I don't like using this type of communication, but when you have no response from e-mails etc and no actual normal telephone contact, what option is there, all I stated was I shouldn't have to use someones elses forum for another sites error.

What sort of way is this to run a business. I mean someone out there must also be feeling the same as me. We are using a forum to find out when we are getting our items. What is that all about. I really dont think I'll be doing business this way in future. It's the people out there that dont really know how to go finding these forums that I feel sorry for. When will they know what is going on. E-mail down mmmmmmm. What about setting up a web based account. I dont ever remember a time when gmail was down.

I agree. This whole matter has been quite outrageous. From what ive read here and on site i beleive everyone is feeling the same, bar maybe the lucky ones who have taken delivery of orders.

I agree, after reading the comments in this thread its sound more and more like a bloke working out of his garage.
As a previous post said i too didnt get a order number site crashed when worldpay tried to return me back to Model-gadget, as i have stated in numerous internal site emails and 1 that finally got through from the links on the site and never got returned like all the others saying address hand "Fatal Errors"
