us the bouquet editor in the service menu it takes a while to do it that way but if thats the only method you have then you will have to put up with doing it that way
Thanks, but how do I do that as I only have numbers on bouquet editor.
Sorry to be a pain
may be i can be of some assistance
on your remote
1.press dbox button
2.press 5 or 6 = services
3 scroll down to channel order
4.then in there i think its the yellow button lets you rename a bouquet
dont forget to save changes as you leave
this may not be exsactly right as i am sat at work , not infront of my box but you should get the jist of it ok
Regards Clint

Afternoon all.
I'm having a problem with my Nokia box and was hoping to get a bit of guidance.
I think someone in our house was messin around with the box, because when I turn it on, the sportster blue and black page comes up saying loading (as usaul), but it stays like this.
I connected it to my pc using a network cable and internet explorer ftp. But I can edit anything or get into any of the folders. I'm using an IP address from the forum, because I can't get in to see what the actual IP address is.
I'm starting to go mad. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks in advance

My problem is I can't get into the dbox, it doesn't go past the "loading kernal" stage.

Hi all finally got the dbox sorted, flashed commando image and update the nagraroms 7,10 and 11. The problem I'm having at the moment is when I put the channels in the order I want after saving them and powering down they keep reverting back to alphabetical. Could anyone please tell me how to sort this?
Thanks, Jamie

Hi all
lost a lot of channels over the w/end on my DBOX2 which has Andromeda 2.0 image on it so I`ve tried to do a rescan and now I`ve got about 80 odd back but it now says Kabel Deutchland in service scan/ cable provider and it will not let me change it or even do a scan any more.
I`m thick when it comes to understanding these machines so please bear with me and I know that info is supposed to be free on here but if anyone in the wakefield/castleford area is able to show me how to do this there`s money on the table.
I might add that the channels I get I can watch perfectly and that I used to be able to do a full uk services scan but that option has disappeared mysteriously
please lads any help out there, I`ve read the guides but can`t found out what to do now
thanks in advance Al
Al

you wont be able to connet to the box via ftp its like the box is switched off only way around it is use a null and cross over cable and then use ifa to flash the new image then you will be back to normal

hi, i have the same problem with d-box as many of the folks
here. i know i need to flash it with some new firm/software.
my question is can i flash the dbox using null cable?
i have most of form/software down loaded on my pc, how do i flash it onto the dbox? doesn't need some kind of a loader like the starview?
also what is "ftp" and "ifa"?
i downloaded some software from bmaq but i don't have clue which
ones to use.
any feedback will be most appreciated
