OK - You Open all your CFG files with notepad.
Secondly - Download liamscape Package and install java (or find it yourself) - you've obviously not done this right. If You go to my thread Server Devolopment there is a tutorial on there. Basically get JDK3 only if your using liamscape - or any JDK for all other souces and copy the server files into your BIN folder in Java - If you look around you should find answers to your queries...

Love to help - but mine ain't working you give me no details - have ou followed the various tutorials - have you read all the answers posted by vicious, me and others...
Firstly - make sure you follow everything.
Secondy - Tell Me Why It Wont Work. If Its Just A JAVAC Problem Or Something - You haven't even attempted to try this - follow the tutorial on page 5.

make yourself more clear please. All CFG files are opened with notepad, .jar and .bat by simply double-clicking operate like .exe files.

Ok that is an excellent guide mate and i give you full respect for it but there is an error that you have not covered now i am being serious here, this is the error the command prompt is giving me:
Note: stream.java uses or overrides a deprecated API.
Note: Recompile with -deprecation for details.

Right. I've got the sever working. i can play it BUT the thing i want to know now if anyone can help me is i want to add it to my site so a few of my mates can play it to and maybe edit it abit. Is this possibale to do and how would i do this?

OK, Zelma. Firstly, If You Read The Countless Answers In This Forum You Will Find That Is Not A Problem - Its Meant To Say That. I Must Of Said This 20 Or So Times In The Last Month. Thats Your Little Servers way of telling you its all good lol. Just hit run server.bat and log in with your client. *As From Now - I'm Not Going To Answer This Question Again.
I Don't Know What MIME Is Or Why You Need It - If Its To Do With Getting Your Server Online - Then I Cant Help. Althoguh If Someone Does Find An Easy Way To Get A Webclient Online - I'll Happily Give Their Server A 360 Spinout.

when i try to run the compile.bat it says "'javac'is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file."
and yes im sure u answered this question somwhere in the 17 pages but... there are 17 pages..

ok dude. Maybe Check Up On The Rules Again And Consider What You Post In Future. I See Creaky Has Let You Off A Ban.
Anyway, I Once Did The Same Mistake - Best To Head TO Sythe Who encourage this sort of stuff. Also check with the net payer in the house, assuming its not yourself as I got BUSTED for that.
