I know there are many threads on this already, but I can't read all through those replies. Though I have tried. I began reading someone who suggested a certain bittorrent accelarator and then recommending you change your settings so downloads would be quicker, but I'm still confused. I'm a newbie to all this really, though I have been using BitTorrent for a long time. I used to download a 30 minute episode in about an hour or less. I changed to BitTornado and it continued downloading fast. Then something happened and I had to reinstall specific programs, including BitTornado. Now BitTornado goes extremely slow. What can I do to make it go faster (Basically asking what are the settings I should put it too or anything else I can do)?
That's an example of an active BitTornado window for me.. I have Comcast by the way. If it's possible, I'd still like to download an accelarator, even if I change my settings and it begins to go fast, but I don't want to download spyware on my computer in the process. I've read also talk of routers and such, and I don't know about any of that. I dont think I need to do anything relating to that though, if it worked fine before. Please help.. Any assistance is most appreciated, and I'm very sorry if this is considered spamming of some sort.
