was rummaging through my media bin for verbs. and found some old 4x lol (01RG20). i really need to start getting rid of some of this stuff, i have some -r's that are like 3+ years old and never been used

Sickley if I remember right those 4X 01R20 DVD-R media are pretty good. ;) Give them a whirl and see what you get. :)

- aww, gotta love them thar ultra sexy Verb TY's, though i haven't bought any in the longest time as i still have far too many in stock, plus i use shedloads of 'almost as sexy looking' Maxell 16x +R (RICOHJPNR03) so my stocks of Verb TY don't get as much of a look in as they did so will probably last a couple of years i'd imagine.

If 4x gone then why can I still buy remaining -R white inkjet printable (thats all they have) from Meritline & Supermediastore? I'll buy it as long as whatever remaining stock lasts 200 or 400 discs at a time then go to TY 8x. Yes I can burn 16x but have no real need to...

Well either burn it or give the discs to somebody that doesn't mind the longer burn time these discs require.

oh no im burning them alright. they are the current highlight of my media bin (a tupperwear tub filled with older dvd r/rw's that i use for periodic data backups). i will probably end using them for movies instead of data though :)

Deadwood...loved the series...they shouldn't have canceled it...Timothy Olyphant is a local boy...He was much younger then me...I Know his sister Julie...she's a good friend of one of my girlfriends...Tim has made it Big Time now...They did the world premiere of "GO" his first movie in Modesto at The State Theatre...He comes back every once and a while and does things for the community...very nice and down to earth guy...and a Great Actor...
