there are retail oil submerged systems so i assume itll last.
samn lots of the new coolers have adhesive back plates aparently now so installing a CPU withthe mobo in a case with the back open is really easy now. i knwo the corsair h50-1 has it.

Modern technology. Gotta love it ROFL!!! Just tried my new VGA --> HDMI converter. NO success. Tried it on 2 capable HDMI devices. Then I ran the HTPC back to the standard VGA connection to a VGA monitor. It worked. So the Converter should be getting the signal, but the LCD tv's are not getting the signal. Conclusion: Faulty cable! Guess I'm contacting the guy...
Ok, it looks like I'm mistaken. The VGA connection on the cable, is actually a HD15 vga connection. Not to be confused with VGA d-sub analog. So now i'm not even certain if such a converter exists. Analog to HDMI is probably gonna cut the resolution...

Quote: You'll like it. It's incredible. That's all I have to say about it LOL! I have virtually ZERO complaints about the HAF. Oh wait, its a dust magnet LOL!
Well I think of it like this... if it can handle Sam's hardware, mine should be cake ;P
Quote: have you guys seen the fish tank case? Cool eh??? The entire cpu is literally submerged in a water oil..
Been around for years. Distilled water eventually loses its purity and fries the board. Mineral oil, on the other hand, can last indefinitely. The actual "fishtank" case I think you're talking about has run for years.
Quote: I've been using 64-bit windows for a year now without any real compatibility issues at all.
That was always a concern for me when moving to a new OS. But funny enough, has never really been an issue at all.

Yea, What I meant was mineral oil. And it's a good cooling system too.

Shaff: They do, the TRUE is one of them, but adhesive backplates are single-use only. With my original TRUA I used the adhesive on the Maximus II.
Jeff: If you like the Armor, you should like the HAF932 even more I reckon :P

Well I've been up close and personal with this particular HAF and yes I already love it. Getting the side panel from the AMD dragon edition as well.

ugh. I was trying to install the gts250 and every time I push it in order for it to be 'locked' on the pci express socket, my motherboard's battery keeps falling off! The gts250 perfectly fits though. I hate the way my motherboard is designed!

That's a design flaw I've never seen before, you sure you're doing it right? Which board?

Sounds like something Asus would do... :P
Keep at it, I'm sure it can't be impossible.
Remember of course, you typically insert a graphics card vertically downwards, it shouldn't even be making contact with the battery holder.

I'm sooo frustrated! I really don't know what to do. Coz if I put the battery back while the gts250 is installed, it just wouldn't barge in. I don't really know how to explain coz it's kinda complicated. But yea, I can put the battery in but the graphic card is not fully 'locked' when I do it. You know what I mean?

Gahh I only got round to updating to 10.1 yesterday, that's annoying. Obviously CF doesn't make any difference to me but the new display driver ought to make something better. Presumably.
I could put something funny here but I cant be arsed. Now GO AWAY!

Wow, that's a huge release update. Well done ATI, for finally fixing the biggest problems in dual graphics.
I see they still haven't implemented the ability to detect Crossfire after a new driver until reboot though.

Guys!!!! Wow, I can't express what I'm feeling right now! lol
I finally managed a way on how to put the gts250 without my motherboard's battery falling off. Ok, basically, all I did was I tape the battery to stay put and it worked!!! Now, my graphics are so sharp! I'm so happy right now. Thank you guys for everything!
But anyway, now that I already installed the gts250, any tips or configuration that I should tweak?

Schwaber, what is the exact model of your board. Or do you have a camera, and can take a picture so you can post a shot of it? I'd like to see this unusual board, that doesn't wanna hold its battery LOL!
