So I swear I did everything correctly, yet no matter what I do, I CAN'T CONNECT MY WII USING THIS METHOD! I have ZoneAlarm installed on my computer, which does not allow the Wi-Fi connector with the Nintendo drivers to connect unless I turn it off, so I decided to give this method a go. When I search for an access point from the Wii, I keep getting error codes 51331 and 52031 during connection tests, and no matter what I do, even turn off ZoneAlarm(I told it to let the connector accept Internet connections), it STILL gives me those error codes. What am I supposed to do? By the way, I'm using a wired modem, and I'm using the Wi-Fi Connector to send out my connection wirelessly. Help, anyone?
Never mind, I got it to work, but without SoftAP.

Wow nice steps! Thanks! (Running XP) One problem though, when trying to install the drivers to the USB, it says the "Microsoft licience" thing, I hit continue anyway and it comes up "The file 'rt25usbap.sys' on Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector CD is needed. Type the path where the file is located and hit ok"
Any idea of how to get around this? Thanks!

Seems like you haven't removed the nintendo software, this must be completely removed and a search for files to remove any other nintendo files which were left behind.

What keywords would likely work the best for searching?

On step 7, I always get this error when trying to Allow other computers access "An error occured while Internet Connection Sharing was being enabled. The system cannot find the file specified."

You didn't double post :P Appreciate the help! But I don't understand how to find EVERY nintendo file that was on my pc, I tried searching Local disc but I must not have got every last one. How would I go about doing that? Sorry for being annoying.

As long as you did the remove program you should be all right to install the new drivers found on the front page, then just follow the steps to a "T". Once you have it install post and I'll send you a custom setup to run multipel devices.

In step 5 did you make sure that the rt2500usb.sys driver is there and the other one has been deleted. Check this as it may be the problem

The problem is the second step: When i plug the usb to my computer and i try install the drivers windows say me that the drivers aren´t compatible with 64 bits, thus windows don´t install the usb.
