I am having trouble with slow download rates even though my upload rates are really low and I am connected to ports 6881-6889. I looked at the tutorials in this site and found that I need to give Bittornado full unrestricted access to the internet and allow it to run it as a server.(because I'm under a firewall)How do I do that??

ok I just answered my own question. My ports are not configured to my firewall because I went to that one website which said it was all stealth.(ports 6881-6889) I'm on a belkin wireless router and I tried configuring it but I have no idea how. Does anyone know? (I also disabled my windows xp firewall and it still didn't work...)

If you still need help, you need to port-forward those ports. There are various threads here that have already discussed this matter. Try looking around in the forums section for port-forwarding.

You can also visit http://www.portforward.com/ for some step-by-step instructions on how to open various ports for P2P. Another tip, you should allow BitTornado to go through ports higher than 15000. A good selection is something like 65500 to 65534. Good luck!
