just got this game and wondering if anyone else is having this problem. it keeps loading like ever 5 seconds when you are racing the screen just ends and then it has to load when you get there in the middle of the race, just wondering if anyone else is having this problem or not??? thanks guys. i d/l it and burned and runs fine except this one problem.

I had this same problem the first time I burnt it. I just rebuilt it and put it on better media and now it works fine.
Have you tried rebuilding it? What type of media did you use and at what speed? +R or -R?

i used verbatim +r, i have skipping problems with these disks, maybe ill order some of those tayo disks, and i have to rebuild all my games or they dont get recognized on my ps2 for some reason, ill buy some sony's till the tayo's get here, thanks

As far as the rebuilding goes, my PS2 is the same way and the only dvd that works for me is TY, so hopefully that will fix your problem. If you do order TY, try www.supermediastore.com. They usually have some good sale prices and free shipping.

I have read some reactions on torent sites. There much problem on this release of NFS Most Wanted. There is no online and soethimes the car will not drive. Also there arre some problem about stuttering when yu play. So i doesn't matter what kind of DVD you use. The problem is in the game, meaby we must wait for the next realease about 2 weeks (PAL). That is the original release.

hey guys, new update smika u smoke crack, i got some sony DVD+R and DVD-R made in taiwan and japan, both burned PERFECT i repeat PERFECT copies of the game with none of the above mentioned problems so its not the game, and once again good media rules :)
no offense smicka just setting things straight

Whenever I try to start it, it just shows me the little title box on top of my desktop like it is about to start then it just freezes everything on that screen...anyone else had this happen or know how to fix it??

I had the skipping problem, but it turned out i just had to load the game in nstc mode, and it worked out fine....

not sure about the Ps2 version but i have the Xbox version (PAL)
from DAGGER and mine also works perfect. Pretty good
game and great graphics.
My friend did the PS2 version and didn't say he had any problems.
as for newsgroups i think that you have to sign up and pay
for that sort of service. You can use a program called grabit
from what i have been told.
But if you want a free solution then the only way to do it is to
join a place like solops2, you will have to seed things as well
as downloading which is good for the community. but once you have
a good seeding to downloading ratio you will get much better
speeds then publick trackers (torrent sites).
I was getting anywhere between 275-475 on a site like that.
some of course will be slower due to low amounts of seeds/leaches
but new games that have a bunch will be real quick.
Note: if you do not seed and get a good ratio they WILL ban you.

newsgroup is a subscrition program, i pay $15 bucks a month for unlimited downloads. now i am a poor college kid but 15 bucks a month compared to 50 for one game or renting them all the time, plus movies and apps its a no brainer for the 15 dollars and all the downloads will work you dont get these stupid ones that sometimes work from irc. and if they dont there are par files that repair them for you so you dont have to download again. www.newshosting.com thats what i use my aim is icyhandlz69. ttyl

I have the same problem with SM 2.0 and v5 PS2.
I can confirm that it doesn't matter what media you use (I've used Ritek forever and NEVER had this type of problem) - the problem is intermittent - meaning it will happen on some courses and not on others...
I also rebuilt the game and tried different CD Loaders and the "Loading" problem still persists especially on very "busy" courses such as Seaside & Fisher. Go ahead and try that course - you'll see what I mean.

dude, ive beaten the game and i used the same iso. both times once with my verbatim that was flawless except on need for speed and the new sony and it didn't do it once. were as the verbatim did on every single course, so maybe its just version and disc a combination, but my sony's fixed all my problems with all my games that "stuttered"
