u just need to make an iso of it.
i recommend using Nero Burning Room.

in Nero, select DVD as media type, then go to the last option (DVD-ROM (UDF/ISO) and select all the files in that folder, burn the image. then but a DVD-R in and burn the image to DVD-R

let me know i this works

No the files are not in the right place, if u see the screenshots that i posted u try n put the files like dat, theres a folder called NFS if its not there create it and put all the files in there and leave the SLES file and the system file. the rest put it in a folder dat u created called 'NFS',, look like this

dats how it should be and put all the rest of the files in the NFS folder and it should look like
then make a iso as it is and burn it.
But that definatly how its ment to look

Hope tis helps bless

The files don't necessarily need to be in order. I made a straight burn of this game. I ripped a rental to my HD then burned it to Taiyo Yuden's at 2x with DVD Decrypter. Works perfectly. Just drag the game files into Nero and burn it using the UDF/ISO option as previously suggested. Burn at 2x on good media. It's the last option in Nero Burning Rom under DVD. Go to new. Drag ALL the game files in. Make sure write is checked and no mutli session is checked. Burn at 2x. It should boot after that. If not you can use DVD Decrypter to create an iso from the DVD you just burned. Go to MODE-->ISO-->READ. Click Decrypt. I set the read speed to 1x, because I have an older burner. To change the read speed, go to Tools-->Settings-->Device. Check set read speed and set it to 1x. Then click Decrypt. It should be done in an hour or so. Load the MDS file into DVD Decrypter and burn it at 2x or 4x. Obviously if burning a UDF/ISO DVD with Nero works, you wouldn't need to worry about the second part. Good Luck.

cheerz m8 it sounds like you have finally cleared this up for me i wil tel u wether it worked or not and i dont have much choice about the second part because im down to my last disk lol although i do hav a disk from earlyer which i messed up while trying to burn the files to it so i could use the second choice on that to get a iso then burn it to a disk :D

I made a tutorial for you on making an iso file, this was the first time i used the software, i tested it by mounting the iso with Alcohol 120% and it work fine so it should work fine with making an iso of your files. http://ps2-backup.be/forum/index.php?showtopic=3

Hardly fair to call you a noob when your an admin on another site lol. That's interesting. I didn't know there was software which lets construct an iso from game files. The only way I knew of to do this was by burning a UDF/ISO DVD with Nero, or by burning the files to disk then constructing an iso from the disk with DVD Decrypter. This comes up every now and then, so I'll point people towards your tutorial when it does.

Thanks, i didnt know there was software either, untill alittle while ago, i havent tested it with a game though as i dont have any game files to test it with but it worked fine when making an iso of two folders and some set up files and the set up files run fine when i run them so i dont see no reason why it wouldnt work with games aswell, i think ill put a warning in the tutorial as i havent tested it with a game yet.

shaun_69, just so you know the guys here are not here to babysit you. if you would have read the stickies in the first place like you are supposed to you would have had no problems in the first place. if you follow those and it still doesnt work, maybe there is something wrong with the files, just cuz its not playin doesnt mean you burned it wrong, you need to look at all aspects and READ all the stickies before you come in here cussing us out cuz u need to know how to do something. dont take this personally but that was rather uncalled for.

I may be late but i had the sane problem with this game....but i come to realize it might be the media....i used verbatim DVD-R i downloaded nfs most wanted and 2 other games and i got pretty must very bad burns with verbatim....so im going to assume you would have to use better media....

Verbatim is good media, but I've heard similar things from people who say they can't get a game to burn to it to save their lives. When it came down to Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim, that made it an easy decision. So far the Yuden's I'm using are 25/25. So if you've got the dinero, head on over to http://www.supermediastore.com and pick some up. That site has some great deals. You can get a 100 pack of Taiyo Yuden for less than a 100 pack of Imation. With deals like that there is no need to use cheap media. One other possibility is that NFS:MW needs rebuilt. I made a straight burn after ripping a rental to my HD, and it plays perfectly. However, I had to rebuild a couple EA games, even when using Verbatims.

10. Q. What does rebuilding an iso mean?
A. It means that some games 4.36-4.38GB's may need rebuilt to work with Swap Magic. Games over 4.38GB's will need rebuilt. This isn't true for ALL games over 4.38GB's and differs on a game to game basis. There is no need to rebuild games if you have a modchip.

11. Q. How Do I rebuild games?
A. With Nero and Isobuster (works as long as no single file is over 2 GB's): http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/197949
With CD/DVDGen: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/210515
