BER 0 looks good. Maybe UPC is using partly different frequencies in your local area.
Check all used frequencies at your chorus sagem box. There should be a info screen with the frequency of the current channel.

Yeah.
Thats what i taught the issue was as it just stopped working on day, but if i check in the installation menu of the chorus box it just says 32400000 for channels, this only finds 5 channels i.e. 1 transponder, the four transponders are found in the high 400 and low 500 k freqs.

Switch to one of the problem channels at your chorus box and try RED, GREEN, BLUE, YELLOW.
Notify the frequency. Leave the screen via the exit button.

Here is one for you experts out there, I flashed sportster1.7 to my Dbox today it took me about a week to figure out how to do it but now my dbox will only start up to all the reference numbers you get at the bootup (I think this indicates it is in debug mode) and nothing else happens.

Hi all of a sudden tonite my screens on my dbox all went green - could still see the pic bit was hazed in green - and the sound disappered - everything worked perfect before - watched all skys premiership matvhes today - anyone know what has happened?

and does it stop at "kein System" or "loading kernel"? if so, perhaps you flashed a 1x image to a 2x machibe or vice versa.

It does not even go as far as kein system or loading kernal all that comes up on the screen at the bottom of all the reference numbers is Lade....... nothing else happens just a blank screen???

Simply reflash the box with a proper image and wait until you get the done message.

Hey how do you get the engineers screen up, pressing any of the coloured buttons does nothing. Pressing them brings up the second guide and the not the engineers menu.

nokia dbox2 with sportster installed. im trying to add more service files, but network is not active, and "start/restart network" does nothing.wasn't a problem earlier today when adding files. any ideas ?

Sorry, in such a case I don't know the key strokes for your special box.
You could try the other direction of the keys.

Hi all,
Could do with a little help guys. Anyone know what freq to use to allow a dreambox to scan chorus mds in cork?
I tried 218 and 282 to no avail. I only get 5 channles and 8 channels when I try that. Do I need to adjust any other settings?

I have tried that, no joy. The thing used scan ok a few weeks back, but not now.
What provider name should I use?......I was using 'unkown AU' and 218mhz for manual scan.
Any other ideas mate?

BAT ONIT.....erm might explain that one to me. I am using the Gemini image on a DM7025. Tried both 218 and 282.

There should be the options BAT and ONIT in the manual scan menue.
At a 500t that options are available.

In manual scan I have the following options:
Tuner
Type of scan
frequency
network scan
inversion
bandwidth
codec rate high
codec rate low
modulation
transmission mode
guard interval mode
hierarchy mode
Dont have the BAT or ONIT there anywhere.

type of scan......single transponder/complete. transponder setting is the one the only ever worked. complete scan never finds anything.
Network scan is set to yes
Bandwidth to 8mhz
modulation to qam64
all others are set to auto.
I have gone through just about every combination I can think of. I see others talking about the cable.xml file and I wonder is there something similar for terristrial?
