hi, im new to all this d box stuff, i was living in dublin and had all the channels i ever wanted, from my n*l signal, but now ive bought a house in blessington, co wicklow. my chor*s signal comes in from a dish on the roof, and then i have to pay them for a digibox, will my sagem d box pick up the dish signal? or do i have to get their digibox? thanks for any help.

You'll have to get their digibox mate. You're on chorus mmds - not dbox compatible.. :(

You will be lucky to get one as they are not manufactured anymore. Go for a DM600 PVR with a DVB-T card and bob's your uncle for MMDS.

Will the existing images that work on the t-500 work on the DM600 PVR, i'm also trying to get my hands on a 500-t but no joy, some of the german dealers have them listed ok. I e-mailed two of them to find out total cost inc shipping to Ireland but didn't get a reply.

Theres no image ready for the PVR 600. It will be done soon. Will let you know when theres a modded one available.

Hi
I am just after getting my second dbox my first one i got up and running , all channels , cheers for the help.
the second one doesnt seem to have NTL dubvlin listed just some german and austrian providers.
can i just transfer over the service and bouquets from my working dbox . do i need a cables file . if so any idea where it is located . cheers

Yes you can transfer them over,
The cable xml is in the tuxbox/config folder.

ok so in a few steps, whats the difference (in basic terms) to dbox2 starview and dreambox?
What works here and what doesn't.

Gemini 3.50 is available for the PVR 600 box.
A so called modded image is only needed if you are not able to install a emu via online addon install and upload a handfull key files by yourself.

Got that.Had to do that with the 7025.Problem is now it is hard to get a 600PVR. Not enough in stock apparently.

Hi
sky movies 9 & 10 are no longer showing up on my dbox. it is reading the EPG but nothing is displayed.
any idea why all the other movie channels are showing up

NT* are not carrying 9 and 10.You have Movies Premier and Movies Premier +1. Don't know why the EPG still shows though.

sly 9 and 10 are now carried by sky as hd, but ntl dont.
if you rescan they should be gone.. I hear they will be new channels so move, but dont delete.

hi guys,
just a quick question. I have a Nokia dbox2 running Sportster image and a uk/ireland cables.xml. I do a scan on cableNTLIE Bruteforce. It picks up all of the channels but no picture or sound.
Do I need to get NTL digital installed on my line? My sisters Pace box works in my parents (never enabled for digital)so I presumed that the digital signal is sent by ntl on the cable. I thought the dbox could just decrypt the channels without needing digital installed by NTL.
any ideas?

hello everyone,
has anyone got a sportster 1.7 +uk05 image x2 intel chips that will work best in dublin on a nokia dbox2 on N*L cable??
I have this working perfect on my first box but my second box went lights out...
