stopped working for some reason, I put them in the GAME 150 folder which im pretty sure they are supposed to go, but when I run them under game my psp goes black and then shuts off, has anyone else had this problem? any replies will be appreciated. BTW the iso's and psx eboots still work fine and yes I did add the 1.50 kernal for 3.80-m33 back when I first upgraded.
what up people, turns out the emulators somehow became corrupted and thats why they were not working, I redownloaded some newer emulators that worked like they supposed to. I think the previous emulators bacame corrupted because I either 1. copied them from one of my fake memory cards or 2. copied them from one of my external hardrives that was acting strange with constant error and crap because I dropped it. :( yeah i trashed it.

yes you can still use Emulators, I had some of the old old emulators that I had for a couple of years I think. the only reason they didnt work anymore is because they became CORRUPTED some how during copying from bad hardware(i.e. fake mem stick or broke external hardrive) , So my problem now is I dont have those old old emulators anymore :( but the good news is I have a friend close by that I recently customized his psp and gave the old old emulators to and I might be able to recover them from him. Also I downloaded some NEWER maybe even BETTER emulators , by BETTER I mean (more games work on them and they Have WiFi cabalities! But I have only found four so far[snes-WiFi,genesis,nes-WiFi,gba], I need to find these that I lost [turbo graphic 16, mame, neo geo, and I think there are a few others too] Lastly I'm running 380-m33-4, why? just like a car even though it does'nt have all the features of 3.90m33 or higher, basically it has everything that "I personally care about" 1. Newest Psp iso and cso rips "working" (god of war -crisis core) 2.Playstation one eboots "working" 3. Emulators "working" , the only thing I have not tried yet is Homebrew games which I will try tonight, I downloaded something called "Mario War" and "Halopsp" hopefully if all goes right they will work too. If you have anymore questions or need help with anything dont be afraid to ask , I will reply.

ok now I have a question, its a easy one I think...
Does anybody have "homebrew games", and other emulators "besides" snes, genesis, gba, and nes "working" on their cfw psp 3.80m33-4 or above? I search for hours for a working neo geo emulator, I found some but they didnt work , I also downloaded "Mario War" a homebrew game that didnt work, I put the hombrew game in every game folder in the psp mainly GAME150. I think thats where it was "supposed to go"
please let me know appreciate it.

Upgrade to 3.90M33-3 and then install the 1.50 kernel provided at Dax's site.

You should get back to 3.90M33-3 because 3.93M33 is almost the same as 3.90M33. 3.93 has lack of upgrades so it's pretty useless. It's best for 3.90M33-3 because there's a working 1.50 kernel for that. I don't know about 3.93M33 though...

Hello guys, i'm a newcomer to this site and also to consoles.
I don't remember how, but i "kinda" bricked(i think) my psp slim.
I had 3.71 m33-2 and i wanted to upgrade it to 3.80...Something went wrong and now i cannot use it anymore, it doesn't see my photos, movies, games, all from ms. I receive a message as there are no pics, movies, audi files, on those folders.
I tried to make it work again by updating, recovery from the m33 menu...somehow it worked to update it to 3.71 m33-4. BUT nothing more than that!
When i try to put the original 3.71 it gets blocked at installing...
Not even the update from it's menu doesn't work! I wait until de update is downloaded and then i receive the message "
Quote: Download completed. The update is now available on your MS. To install now, press the x button.
I press x and it says to me
Quote: This game cannot be started.
.
Also when i put a m33 update + the psp update into RECOVERY folder on ms, he's giving me another error message(something with corrupted data!)
Can you please help me?
Any ideas?
Victor

Hey thanks for the reply Kikzm33z, But I have more questions if your answer is to upgrade to 3.90m33-3, and before I go any further I have some info for you that are recent developments on my part, ok I still have not had any luck with that "one Homebrew Game" called Mario War that is the "only" new Homebrew Game that I have tried to get to work on my PSP, "I have not tried others" All I know is the Homebrew games that use to work back when my PSP was still at Firmware 1.50 dont work anymore either, they were "Pong" "Some Casino Game" and "Bejeweled" , I'm still thinking "maybe" the Mario war game was broke and that I should try at least a few others before I can say that "Homebrew games" wont play . what do you think?
Also, I just found a Neo Geo Emulator MVSPSP and a Emulator called Capcom Arcade Play CSP2PSP, "Very Cool by the Way" I manage to get them to work, But surprisingly Unlike my SNES, NES, and GENESIS Emulators that are in PSP/GAME150 folder , These are placed in the PSP/GAME folder. I was told that Homebrew games should go in the PSP/GAME folder, remember that was one of my earlier questions, do you think that these new emulators are some kind of Homebrew? I know its a stupid question but I just have to hear it lol.
I must admit I'm very cautious about upgrading it because I dont wish to lose the abilities that I already have. So I need "you" to confirm some things with me First before I make that huge decision. I trust your judgement and statements ok
1. If I upgrade to 390m33 will I still be able to
a. Play ISO and CSO with no problems? I ask this because 380m33-4 works perfectly
2. Will playstation one EBOOTS still work? will I have to re-install popsloader?
3. Are you suggesting this upgrade Specifically for "Homebrew Games"?
Does 380m33-4 not play them at all?
I know these are a lot of questions so please take your time and review this and please hit me up when your ready. thank you

hi I have a friend (krometek) who has customfirmware 3.80m33-4 on his psp, I have a PSP/Slim with Official Firmware 3.60 , He used the universal easy installer to make a magic stick memory card , so we should be good on that , but the guide he was reading said to make a pandora battery you need either a PSP with OFW 1.50 or a PSP with CFW . He wasnt sure but he thinks he can use his CFW PSP to create a Pandora battery for my PSP Slim. We will not take any further action until this is confirmed can you please help us .
