Oh by the way the vid using utube sucks as they tend to compress the video till its hard to see the fine print but I'm pretty sure what you have done. Great tunes and the cat stole the show, next time just use a screen capture.

Off the top of my head...ZD soft screen recorder is one and if you know how to find the keygens then all is good as they only give you 5 mins. to play....also give the search a try on site and you should find something there as well. Most important post anywhere other then utube like megaupload, rapidshare they leave the file as it was.

I'm sure everyone here could anwser this but why would we, I've tried to help you a few times and it seems to me you just don't get it. This hack takes a total of maybe 10 mins. So if you think the other web site is so much better then I suggest to go back there.....as for me this will be my last reply to your posts all others are always welcome.........

wow...the only reason i tried the other sight is because this vid didn't work on my computer i don't know why...i needed a vid for small details and that site sucked anyways only had the vid and no steps. plus this isn't only helping me theres been a few times on forums where other people have helped me by asking a question someone answers it and i look at that answer BOOM right there got the answer no taking forever to reply and word out your problem someone else did it for you! if i were in your position knowing a lot about stuff and stuff i would help anybody who asked no matter how many times they ask where there from or anything as long as they treat me with a decent ammount of respect. have i ever done anything? no im just trying to save myself a few bucks by hacking this and im also bringing it to a farther extent. im sorry that im not some sort of super awesome 1337 haxor...most of my expierience with things like this goes into hacking the systems themselves. and other small tricks. Im just trying to learn and get the better advantage of things like everybody else is here..

I tried this tutorial but I get stuck on step 2, I can't installed the modified Buffalo drivers because they're not compatible with my Wifi adapter, even though it's for PSP/NDS.
It's an EDUP adapter, should be similar, but it just won't accept the drivers supplied in the tutorial, therefore the ASUS app won't load.

What can I do?

The buffalo drivers are only for the nintendo wifi adaptor as its really just a buffalo adaptor. What the buffalo drivers do is just by pass the nintendo "DRM" and let it revert back to a simple Buffalo adaptor. What's wrong with the software that came with your adaptor?

There is no SoftAP software, it's only drivers. Theres no SoftAP options in the WinXP network settings. I'm just going to buy a proper PS3 wifi adapter..

Conditions very of course but 20 to 25 feet seems to be fine anything over this has to be in birds eye view. Remember number of walls, steel and other electronics all have input in your final signal distance. Hey great ? and good luck.

Thank you for this tutorial, i finally managed to correctly connect with both my psp & DS lite (although it wasn't easy lol)

Just one question though, does this hack work on Vista 32-Bit? Has anyone tested it?

I don't think so but I will try it out as my little girl is getting a laptop with Vista for x-mas, so as soon as I know for sure I'll post the results.

I am now currently stuck on step four which i have been for the past 2 days, I have installed the drivers correctly i have overwritten everything, but when i go to open the ASUS WLAN control center i get this error: The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). I have repeatedly uninstalled my wifi and the Wlan , but nothing seems to work, or is that that it is uncompatable with Vista?

i tried the whole thing and it worked great on my psp and wii, but not the ds. So my brother, without telling me, installed the nintendo cd that came with the connector. i uninstalled ASUS and the nintendo wifi thing, then uninstalled the usb thing using device manager. now i plug the usb in and found new hardware pops up. i set it to install form drivers in nin_wifi_Fullpack. half way through it says to insert the compact disc. this didn't happen the first time. when i insert the disc it completes installation but the usb connector is registered as "Nintendo Wifi USB Connector" not as a Buffalo device like the first time. Did i miss something in uninstallation. Please help somebody.

Try searching for any program folders left behind after the uninstall, my computer...c drive...programs and look for nintendo or what ever it installed to then delete that folder making sure its the one you want....Or you can do a quick search for these as well. After this do a reboot to clear the memory and you should be ready.

WD. Merry Christmas!

On another note:
I got everything running...and can see the wireless network
from my laptop, but when I try to connect to it, it seems to fail.

I am using vista..unfortunately...

Do I need to somehow setup the connection manually?

Heres my setup...
I have my desktop PC which is connected to a router...
Router IP = 192.168.0.1
Main PC = 192.168.0.2
I set the WIFI USB (connected to the desktop) to 192.168.1.1
Followed all the directions...but my laptop wont
get an IP or connect to the network.

Any ideas?

Hey, I have a problem. I got it to work my first time with DSOrganize but it won't seem to work anymore. Also I am trieng to get Beup to work but I need to set gateways and stuff. It doesn't seem to work when I input the gateway and DNS. The ds picks up the signal but it doesn't recieve anything back causing it to stop working after like 10 seconds in manual setup(DS). But if I input AUTO obtain ip address, the official games seem to work fine but the homebrews don't seem to work. Can some one help? I really wanna try some of the cool homebrews like Beup & DSorganize webbrowser. help?

Ok I got it working. Now I am trying it on another computer in my house. It used to have the nintendo wifi installed using the included cd. I went to add/remove programs and removed it. Then i plugged the usb adapter in. A balloon pops up saying it malfunctioned or something. it appears in device manager as unknown device i uninstalled unknown device and unplugged it and replugged it. it says found USB Device, then changes to Unknown Device, then Your new hardware is installed and ready for use, and then USB Device not recognized . I tried going into device manager and updating "unknown device"'s drivers with the modded drivers but it says it could not find a better match.

Install the drivers for the stick from the driver folder again. As nothing should have changed other then a bad command file.

I wish I could help...I have vista on a Laptop which did the same thing and I changed everything possible and still nothing. So I went back to the first setup and the damm thing (VISTA) works like a charm. Mind you I tryed every possible setup in vista with no anwser. I'll post back anything I can think of later as I'm just going out. Just keep trying and under network name I just put in default good luck it will work as mine is proof of that.
