ok. i have everything setup perfectly. my router has forwarded ports, no firewalls, and im getting a green light in BitTornado. AND im connected to over 50 seeds. YET, my speeds dont go above 5 kB. i dont know why.. could it be my ISP? im using Alltel DSL.
anybody help..
EDIT: ok, after 1 and a half hour, im getting speeds of 5-10. hopefully itll get better..
EDIT2: woah, after 1 hour 45 mins, im getting speeds of 50 - 55. awesome! but thats still not what some of you people get..
Seems like you've done a lot of it right, however you've missed one crucial part, there may be 50 seeds connected, however you have not disclosed the amount of peers/leeches competing for the file.
Example;
If you have a torrent with 50 seeds connected + 200 peers connected, your rate of transfer will be considerably lower due to the fact that the seeders (person/s who is sharing the file) upload is split more (due to there being more people downloading the file), therefore less travelling your way.
You must tell us the amount of seeds & peers connected for us to be able to aid you further, one more thing you can do is this...
