hi gordon still not sorted i got down as far as paragragh 3 were it says highlight the 'connection type' in the lift hand window it did not say connection type in my left hand window so im well stuck grrrr

can anyone please send me a newbie guid to setting up a dbox2 from scratch i got one from a friend the other day and i put it on only for it to be stuck on the "digitl worldz loading image" page
any help would be great

Hia could anyone send me the latest good image for a sagem dbox for cable and an instruction guide please? I'm not getting sound on a couple of the channels and someone suggested I need to update the image??????????????????

lol...wow dont be flashin x1 image on a x2 dbox..because kein sys can be an ass to get off !!!
for some its easy ...for others its a complete nightmare !! (i personally use Hyper terminal..because IFA just wont work for me)
Just look thru the vents on your dbox...near the tuner...
it will have 1 chip...or 2 chips ...easy as that.
Then u can FTP your box usin Flashfxp(or sommat similar) with a xover cable..and flash any x1...or...x2 image across. (plenty of guides on this thread)

hi paul quick 1 for you do i need to be on the internet to flash my box or can it be done off line also is comando 8 any good useing 6 at the mo all is good just wondering cheers mate

No you dont need to be connected to the internet to flash your box
Commando 8 is one of the best have seen
But it needs a bit of work doing to it to get all channels
If 6 is going strong and your not up to speed ide stick withit mate
