That software is a scam and absolutely does NOT work as advertised for ANYTHING it "supposedly" works for.

So, did you try the software? Has somebody already tried game copy pro? I wonder, how they managed to bypass all the hardware copyprotection with one copytool.

I don't think it's a scam as such - just very misleading. I'm sure that game copy pro does allow you to copy (cd/dvd)games by removing CSS etc - the only thing is, you can't play them! It does what it says on the tin, allows you to copy games, but neglects to tell you that the copy will only function as a shiny coaster. In effect, its just a copy of anydvd or clonedvd.

Has it actually been confirmed that this program is false? I think I'll download it (not paying for something that is a scam) and I'll try copying a wii game since ps3 backups don't work. I'm just curious to see what this program is knowing that chances are it doesn't work.

I'll see if I can get the full version. I won't pay for it, of course. I'll use one of the shady methods I always use.
GENERATION 98: The first time you see this, copy it into your sig on any forum and subtract 1 from the generation. Social experiment.

You are just wasting your time as there are working/proven methods for making copies/backups i.e. Imgburn, DVDDecrypter and so on. But if you want to try software that basically rips people off then go ahead, at least if you don't pay for it won't be a big deal.

The man's right. DVD decrypter can be found for free and thats what I use to burn my games and movies.

It is a scam seeing that it doesn't do what it is advertised to do. The setup is crap. Basically it is a tutorial list on how to back up games with a few tools that are no where close to being user friendly. I downloaded it about a year ago to see what it was about. I don't think it can help you with making ps3 backups at all. If I were you I wouldn't waste my time downloading a free version of it.

The simplest explanation for it is...if it worked we would all be using it but it doesn't so that's it.

I came accross this program some months back when I was learning to backup xbox games. I never bought it, as it just not my style so I used a full version I obtained from a peer.
The software in question come bundeled with some selected other software such as 2 trojans and a keylogger. Thats what my antivirus told me after insalling.
Also I never learned to use it as it looked overcomplicated and scamish.
I use xbox backup creator and imgburn for xbox backups.
For PS3 backups I use bluraydecrypter, BRburn an PS3 backup crator... Just kidding :D

I'm a strong promoter that stands by his product. I believe in my product.
I understand there are some people that are not completely happy with it. But that goes with just about anything in general.
There are lots of things in this world that are promoted 100% satisfaction but we all know there's no such thing.
What I'm saying is yes if you choose to use scam name removed it will do exactly as advertised (copy any game) the one down fall with this software is that it's not very user friendly and there are some points of the program that a customer that isn't that computer savvy might seem irritated with.
To sum it all up, the software works and if you read the instructions entirely though before acting upon them you will successfully create backups of your original games. Visit my review here
