They can't go after you, if you dont own there program .
They can get records though, to see who has bought the program, but they will just find out its all a scam and people didn't get what they paid for, so I believe, the buyers, that bought into there scam really has nothing to worry about in this situation.
Anyhow, also, another helpful thing to get Game Copy Pro back with their scam. I found this website, and you can report scam artist's websites with this link
OnlineVerif.com
Which someone has already reported Game Copy Pro's scam to them.
and I am thinking of doing the same, A lot of people should report them, the more people report them, the more then likely there website will get shut down.

I think that a possible way to stop or at least warn of the scam is for someone to post a site with a title similar to game copy pro. When a person uses the search engines to find this sort of thing the title is displayed and the short lead in sentence you get says read this warning about.
It ma y at least get some people to read the warning before they make an uninformed decision about making this guy rich.

These pricks seriously need to be shut down, they are making serious money though, I know of people making hundreds a day promoting this crap.
I wouldn't mind if the product actually worked but its just one lie after another and it makes me sick.
I'm really surprised Clickbank hasn't given them the boot yet, they must have a tonne of refunds.

I was had by this company today but thanks to people like you I was able to see that it was a scam before my payment processed with my bank. I paid for what was supposed to be: Game Copy Pro version 2.75 or something like that, which does not exist. What is actually offered is the same information you can find on youtube: http://youtube.com/watch?v=LwJz7MplC7o and many more places instructing you on how to copy and play games. This still requires certain hardware and software. None of which is offered on this site, so basically the Game Copy Pro software does not exist. The site flat out lies about the software. It advertises that you download the software, put in original disk and copy...That's a lie!! The site is informational, whereas it gives you instructions on how to flash your console, what type of dvd drive is needed for reading games...By the way you have to practically destroy your dvd rom drive for copying xbox 360 games, unless you have 1 0f three types of drives... and it directs you to the needed software links that you can get for free anyway and again... the same info is all over the web. Don't get me wrong, the writer went to a great extent to publish the info on the site, but the way it is being sold is more than misleading...Anyone can see that it is an intentional scam once purchased. If anyone bought into this scam, you can call Click Bank at: 208-345-4245 for a refund.

DO NOT BUY GAME COPY PRO. It is A SCAM. If ANYONE has information on how to report the scam, please do.
The good news is that I called ClickBank customer service and they immediately issued a refund back to my paypal account. See the above post for the phone number.
Also, I typically do research on websites, when it comes to purchasing such software.
Remember this... to the best of my knowledge, your dvd/cd drive must be able to read the disk. As far as I know, you can only read the disks with certain LG dvd drives.
Anyways - dont buy it. I did and will be careful next time. Silly me.

I also fell prey to this particular scam. However I wanted to pass along to anyone in this situation that you can get your money back. After a brief visit to my local bank and an explanation of the circumstances, the bank officer made a call to clickbank and a refund was promptly issued (3-5 business day delay for funds to be posted into my account).
This may seem a bit redundant by stating what has already been said, but following the belief that more is better, I figured one or two more people screaming to the masses "This %&*$ doesn't work" might better serve to get the message acrossed. There is no link on there site to DL GCP, only a ton of garbage and overly-complicated methods to do what the advertisments said was "Easy" "Point, Click, and your done".
While I am still searching for the means to backup my console games (without the use of mod chips)(PS2 & 360), a lesson has been learned. Take a few minutes to research something before you put your hard-earned money into it... otherwise you'll find yourself locating a forum topic (like this one) a few days later and kicking yourself in the head for being in such a stupified hurry to begin with.

I'm a strong promoter that stands by his product. I believe in my product.
I understand there are some people that are not completely happy with it. But that goes with just about anything in general.
There are lots of things in this world that are promoted 100% satisfaction but we all know there's no such thing.
What I'm saying is yes if you choose to use scam name removed it will do exactly as advertised (copy any game) the one down fall with this software is that it's not very user friendly and there are some points of the program that a customer that isn't that computer savvy might seem irritated with.
To sum it all up, the software works and if you read the instructions entirely though before acting upon them you will successfully create backups of your original games. Visit my review here

just to had my twopence worth - it is a scam - i bought it through paypal uk and the clickbank thing
i'm in the middle of trying to get my money back
2 points -
1 there is an advert for it on this site and it was one of the first things that popped up when i searched 'game copy pro' on this site
2 i'm sure there are lots more suckers like me out there who will not bother to try and get their money back. i think this gets those people out there who have used freeware like dvd decrypter, shrink dvd and the like for backing up dvd's and imagine that this is a similar programme for ps3 disks - which after reading this thread i realise is simply not the case

I just wish to add my thanks to all ( OK, almost all ) who have posted on this thread. I clicked on a spomsored link from one of my gmail emails and arrived at GameCopyPro. Luckily, i googled the address and found this thread. Even though I had a 95% feeling that it was a scam site, the 1-2-3 checklist on that page was just so inviting that I almost clicked through.
From what I have read here, despite the website indicating that you are about to download version 2.73 of their software, there is no such software.
Avoid these scammers, save yourself a pile of grief.
thanks again to the posters here.

Your friend is honest and thinks she plays AC2 on a PS3. In reality she is playing AC1 on a PS2.
