How to run PS2 games from USB drive??

USBAdvance is old, but if you really want it, you can find on sksapps.com

Use OPL v0.8 instead. It has way better compatibility

Basically install the OPL v0.8 to your memory card on PS2, so you can launch it using fmcb 1.8

Then install games to USB drive using the USBUtility 2.0, or you can run games from a Network on your PC

The settings are in the guide and instruction

yep

Create folder called PS2SMB
Inside that folder create two folders CD AND DVD

Inside the DVD folder place your ISO images.

use fixiso - http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1609914/fixiso.exe

to rename the files accordingly - for example GT4.iso is renamed to SCUS_973.28.GT4.iso

The tool does it for you, just place the tool in teh DVD folder with your ISO images and run it.

And for the Network settings in OPL, follow the guide

For the PS2, you can use uLaunch.elf to see what your PS2 IP address is or set it using PS2NET

When you first run OPL and change settings, then just restart it for the changes to take effect.

Yes

Do you have uLaunch.elf

It is like a filebrowser for the PS2

You copy the OPL from UsB to Mc0 (memory card)

Do you have fmcb 1.8 or is your PS2 modded in any way. Because you first need that before you can use OPL.

It will work, but you need to first buy Swap Magic 3.6 to use with scph-9000x models

Then using Swap Magic, you can load other PS2 applications, such as OPL v.8 which is better than USBAdvance.
