Head is done in...Got a mates Eurovox max v other night because he was having trouble with it. Plugged it into my cable and it started to update..Channels came on (YAY) but the time was all wrong. When I set time right I got "NO SIGNAL".
I unplugged it for a few mins to reset and hey presto stations where back, did same with time and stations had gone again "No Signal"..
Anyway don't ask me why I did a factory reset but I get sweet F.A now..
I do a full scan and get 13TP's when it starts to scan in for stations I get CH1,CH2,CH3 probably up to 30 of theses. When i goes back to viewing it says "unknown service or channel not known"...Aghhhh
The S/w Ver 1.0stc4 oct 29 2007
H/w Ver 2.0tk5
Bootstarp V001
S/w Kuro...
Any advice appreciated....

I have tried 6952, 6887, 6875. Level and quality range mostly between 70~80%. dropping to 2~3% now and again during scan.
I assume that the quality is up around there that there is a digital signal coming in??
Thanks
Its only anlogue in your area on Ch**us cable.
Well lads
Things are looking up for Carlow,
I knew that the town's area's where been updated at the moment,
So I brought it to a friends house not far away, and scanned there, picked up everything straight away first time. :-).
Symbol rate of 6875....
Seems no one on my supply node has switched to Digi yet so it was not switched on at the box, But it is there.
Carlow is finally out of the dark ages.... Ha

Thanks for that
Had already updated up freq as per previous post also added 440.000and still nothing coming up
should i delete all other channels and frequency and just try 440.000
freq's for ch****
274.000 371.000
282.000 378.000
290.000 386.000
298.000 394.000
306.000 410.000
314.000 426.000
322.000
to add these freq's you need to
go to installation
green button for ch edit
red button add channel
enter freq and symbol rate 6875
press ok, then repeat these steps till all freqs added. when they're all in press exit and go back to first page of install menu. press the red button for auto scan. will do a scan an all the freqs entered and should hopefully give you 138 channels.
best of luck

OK you need to go to menu, config, clear data and then clear channel data. Then do a normal powerscan from 290.000 to 403.000 using symbol rate 6887 N*L

Helping a friend out lads, or at least trying to. She has a Eurovox Max on NT* in Ballymun. It was working fine, now its not. No channels show up which i think is a bit strange. When i brought it up to another friend's, i used his PC to update the f/w. I update with the "Eurovox_Max-V-Black_02_07_07.bin" f/w.
When i plug it into my mate's aerial in the RF in (he's also in Ballymun) really weird thing happens. The Quality and Signal bar pops up and down to 98%, 100% and back down to 0%, 10%. it's really weird! any ideas anyone. Tried doing a power scan with symbol rates and frequencies that's been given in this thread. 270-400 and symbol rate 6887. Is there a secret menu with access to EMU to switch it on. Do any of you think the box is faulty, with the quality and signal bar bouncing around? His box works fine on his connection. So i dont think its his connection. Any help would be really really appreciated!

Better been safe and loading the blue Feb 07 firmware, (you will find this in Eamos FTA Library at the end of my post), as I do not know if you have a clone or genuine blue box, later firmware will kill it if its a clone. You will also need dnupman as a loader as it is not a UFL, (unified firmware loader), like later firmware.
