Thanks Scouser
I'm not sure how many TP's I got up but I'll have a look later.
I'm sure Debic will be able to fill in the blanks if there are any

As you can see from my last post, I'll count the TP's later.
I searched from 275-460 and as I've said have 120 TV Channels up at the moment.
If I don't have the 13 TP's you mentioned I'd be obliged for assistance in tuning them in

Strange indeed try adding 444.000 manually and see what that pulls in.

Strange indeed. I'm now picking up 12 TPs but still on 120 channels, no increase in channels from the 11 TPs ( might have got more radio didn't look )
Tried manual searching for 444 but box does not seem to be allowing me.
Pressing blue button for manual search and nothing happens ????
Not to worry I'm happy with what I got at the moment

To input tps manually.
1.Press menu, installation, user installation.
2. Press Green Button, then red button to add.
3. Press Info button and Change CH NUM to 0013.
4. Input frequency 444.000.
5. Symbol rate 6875.
6. Press OK to save.
7. Exit out to user installation, (TP Screen).
8. Go to CH 0013, (new one you have added), highlight it and press OK.
9. Now press Blue Button to do a manual scan on that one frequency.
10. Let it scan and then exit.
Any new channels on the new TP will be found at the end of your channel list.

havin a bit of a problem.
i have the 07 eurovox on N** in clondalkin. the box was workin perfect until last week when the signal kept dropping below 80%, the channels then freeze and most of the others are blank.
I've tried the box in my friends house in a diff area and all the channels work perfect.
Even tried a diff box in my house and the same happened to that after a few mins???
Any ideas wat the prob is?

Hi Guys,
Was looking at getting the Eurovox MAX 2008. I'm in the Ratoath/Ashbourne area and have an N*L MMDS service. I know the box works great as a got a loan from a mate and had no major problems in setting it up. My question and worry is that because the MMDS service is a purely digital service that N*L would be able to detect the Eurobox on the network. Is it possible for N*L to see anything other than an N*L box on their network? Thanks for any advice.

The N*L line is only one way traffic its what they put out your not putting no signal back in the line So the answer is no they cant see your box

Sounds like a cabling problem, take away any splitters and try it from the direct feed.

hi Sc0user,
I was told NT Hell and Ch&rus (1 company)
can tell if you have a box plugged into there service.
thats why they send signals down lines were boxes other than there own to see if they can knock them off.
Every couple of days i get the message Updating where they had sent signals down i.e probably to change frequencys or something and then my box automatically updates and hey presto the stations are back.
I have 1 question on the 2008 Eurovox MAX V is there anyway of setting the programme time right ? Is this to do with the EPG ?
The time is always 1 hour ahead.
thanks
Steve

No they cant as all these boxes have no talkback feature for obvious reasons.
The time problem is specific to the Irish EPG stream and the EV, in the UK it can be fixed by setting GMT to 00:00, but in Ireland you need to follow these instructions:
1. Pull plug on the back of the EV for a few seconds then plug back in again..
2. When EV powers up, immediately press menu, config and time settings.
3. Set correct time using GMT settings.
4. Then turn GMT OFF.
5. Press blue button to save and exit.
It may take more than one attempt so just be patient, it does work. One thing to note though when you have the EPG correct, is to just put it in standby at night, if you unplug it you will have to go through the whole process again.

Does everyone leave there boxes on standby all the time.
I mean when people go on holidays they would like to plug out everything right, but you cant plug out these boxes?
If i did plug it out for a week came back what would i need to do to get stations back on Cho*us in Swords.
thanks

No your stations wont go but you would have to go through the process of fixing the EPG time again, thats all.
