i was just chatting to someone about your Goldeneye Rouge Agent prob and they said it copys easy! they think that your original game disk might be bad even if it plays on your ps2!they also added they had the same problem with a (naughty naughty)rented game so they took it back got another copy and it was fine!!!

Yeah that is what I was thinking too. I think just to see if we are correct, I will get hold of another copy and see if I can back it up. Thanks for all your help and I will let you know.

I finally made a perfect copy of Fantastic 4. I tried 3 times and ended up with 3 coasters. Go to swapmagicfix.com and there is a patch that will fix the iso you have of fantastic 4 so it will work on ur ps2. Its in rar format tho, so you will have to dl WinRAR.

bs11osl, thanks for your help on me copying GoldenEye. I got hold of another game and it copied easily with alcohol. So I guess my original was bad.

Thanks

i think Nero burning rom i use 66015a is good for backing up as i have done all the list above
using 1:1 copy using a poineer 108 with no probs

the others i had to use dvd dcrypter to make the images ast they needed the second layer and patching or rebuilding

i have now rebuilt

gt4
god of war

I see where you use a dual layer DVD burner. Will the PS2 play dual layer disc? Are there dual layer games out there? I have one of the older style PS2s

dual layer disks can be used with some mod chips

but if you use swap magic you have to rebuild the dual layerd disk with various programs to make it fit on to a standard 4.7 gb dvd

to use on old or new playstations

for most of the dual layerd game there are patches and various other threads on how to convert them

eg

gt4
god of war
fantastic 4

As far as Burnout 3 goes, it's just a 1:1 copy with A120%, or Read and Write with DVD Decrypter. And in detail, there should be some tutorials here on AD for that.

Two coasters i just made of Rainbow 6 Lockdown. I made a iso backup from the original then I used dvddecrypter to ISO read and then ISO write it back to dvd using a NEC DVD_RW ND-3500AG and when I start the backup disc the screen rolls continually and it has no color but the game loads just with Horizontal rolls. so I also tried stomp record now max which i have used successfully for every backup so far in the pastand I came up with the same error ?
Anyone have any suggestions. I have a visual impairment so please bear with me on replys if instructions are available Thanks in advance

I once was lost now im just blind
