Help Please!!!!

Hi guys, i have a sagem dbox with one flash chip, this bloody thing is doing my nut, for some reason it won't flash using IFA, when i plug it in the LCD shows betaresearch on the top line and digital broadcasting solutions on the bottom line, and just keeps rebooting over and over and over, i really have no clue whats up with it,

Was wondering if anyone has had this problem, and knows hoe to solve it, Thanks

Ignoring all preconditions doesn't help.
Read a dbox2 flashing guide and use IFA.

Check the log output in the IFA window.
Its always a good idea to use a additional nullmodem cable.

although i am not complaining its just a little niggle that i would like to resolve.

Check first if you got an combiner from Ntl.
If you read TAP at the output of a splitting device replace it with a real splitter.

The normal slx booster is not so good. There is a gap between 230 mhz and 470 mhz.
The SLX Gold Plug Thru support the full range and should be buyable via ebay for around 15 euro.

The yellow brick has minimum 12db gain and that overrun the tuner in normal circumstances.
The yellow brick is good if you have long cables and a 4 way splitter for instance or a extremly bad signal.

I think it is a sky box office channel, no EPG on it, they might be just testing, tends to be the same film run over and over for days. since there is no proper epg you cannot easily tell when it is going to start/end. been going on weeks now.

Hey ppl i have a problem with a friends nokia dbox on ch*us in cork running sportster 1.75uk. When he tried to update the keys in sportster menu, lots of channels went off. The RTEs, BBCs etc are on. Movies, Sports etc are off. I tried to force public key update and after a long wait no keys appear after pressing show public keys. It seems like theres no keys there at all to update. I reflashed the image, loaded the files etc. but to no avail. All the channels are there, its just alot arent decrypting and i cant get any new keys to update. I tried changing emu selection evocamd... etc. I tried force public update on my own box also early and now the same has happened, the previous keys were seemingly wiped off and replaced with nothing. Any know how to fix this, help would be very much appreciated, Thanks

Hi All,

Anyone know if N*L are messing about with the signals.
This morning I'm not getting any service on any channels. (using a Dreambox)
Messed about with the Tuner and Emus with no luck.
Also can't find a Transponder when doing a scan.
SNR is currently around 71%
Noticed abount 5 channels missing yesterday and they were also showing the same SNR % but all the other channels were fine with a SNR of 90%+.
Now all gone. Any ideas??

Connect your cable feed to the aerial input of your TV and do a scan at the TV.
If you get no analogue channels there is no cable signal.
