Without getting too far off-topic here; anyDVD gives cleaner rips and updates more quickly with newer encryptions (typically) than DvdFab.

And, it's nice to have multiple tools in one's toolbox.

I bought both and am glad i did. ;)

Happy ripping.

4. when all the movies pop up select title 47

5. you might get errors but just hit ignore all and keep ignoring them.

6. hit the next button when it pops up (might take bit)

7. it should eventually start ripping.

(if you get some errors before it starts ripping just hit ignore all)

Thanks to paschal93 for the info.
Unfortunately didn't work for me. 6.0.7.0 crashes my computer while it's initially checking the disc regardless of what PathPlayer setting I use. It freezes up, I then have to ctrl-alt-delete to close it, and then Windows doesn't see my dvd drive until I reboot. Guess I need to wait a few days for an update.

1. Anydvd 6.5.9.5
2. Rebuilder
3. Imgburn
Done :D

My dual core did it in 69 minutes :0

And thanks to CCE, it looks almost like the original.
I used AnyDvd and CloneDvd and my I7 965 Extreme Edition processor completed it in about 25 minutes.

Isn't DVD43 and AnyDVD pretty much the same thing. AnyDVD seems to be quicker about getting updates out, but I have had alot of luck with DVD43.

I totally agree. I like DvdFab for certain abilities it possesses(E.g Removing Fullscreen version from a dvd that has both Wide and Full While maintaining menus).
Anydvd is a very clean ripper. Its well worth every penny. As far as I know, Vob blanker and FixVts are not needed when ripping with anydvd. I think Vob blanker is Overkill. However I could be mistaken. But I have NEVER used either of those programs with anydvd. I use Dvd Rebuilder or Dvd shrink with decrypted files...Though I use Rebuilder more ;) IMHO, anydvd does not get any easier...
Right click on that Sly little Fox and rip to harddisk.

with my Quad-Core DVD Rebuilders time was 31 minutes to encode.CloneDVD only gets the compression to 66% doing the movie only thats why its best to use DVD Rebuilder for this title

31 minutes eh. That's about what I average with my Quad. I used my dual core system because it houses my Trusty burner/Ripper ;) It does the best job reading disks(LH-20A1H lite-on). There's a slight transparency area that my other burners well...lets just say I don't trust them LOL!

Edit - Spell check LOL!

In my experience an action movie packed with graphics like this will still suffer when using Rebuilder (not as much as it would with Shrink or Clone, of course). This is a great example of when to use a DL disc, IMO. Then again, the movie itself is an incomprehensible mess and is really bad. But when there's robots fighting for two hours who cares!

anydvd latest version and clonedvd 2 which show exactly that title 47 was the right one, and just for fun I throw it also to mac the ripper in my mac and it showed that the dvd was 87 gigs, but no way to copy it if you don't know which title was the right one, so I glad that I have a pc with dvdfab and anydvd in it.

LOL! A modest 3.5! Though I should be capable of 3.6, it was stable I believe. 3.7 however was not.

Mrchub, I've backed up over 3.5 hrs looking within reason. 2.5 hrs always looks good. Though the source files help when they look good LOL!

at 66% compression using DVD Rebuilder to encode the file should look almost perfect if you're doing the process right

LOL! Thats a spendy processor. I would think its faster than that. Hmmm. My quad core phenom II averages 28-32 minutes for titles like this...

It looks beautiful Zoso ;)

Ok. Great guys. Now it looks like we're going to have to either use DVD Rebuilder for those that want to, or live w/a so so good copy for a lot of flics soon here. I've noticed they've been lengthening the flics to about a lil over 2hrs now for some time. Even The Zombie Flic w/Woody was over 2 hrs.

Otn, time to get Transformers and make the Doughnuts. Lol...

I haven't clocked my AMD Phenom 3 I believe it is w/2 sticks of screaming DDR3 mem on my Asus M4A78T-E, but I think it'll do just fine.

SAMSUNG SH-S203B, SAMSUNG SH-S223F, SAMSUNG SH-S202J, PIONEER DVR 112D

Common Sense Aint Too Common Anymore.

ok so my copy plays well up unit the end of the movie, then it starts to skip on my DVD player in my room. :(

however, it plays all of it on my DVD with no problem with the family DVD in the living room. I think my DVD player is time for an upgrade lol. many of my DVDs are having problems playing and stuff I put together. My DVD player upstairs plays anything with no problem.

I just got Windows 7 on Sunday & I'll be danged if I spend unnecessary money for something like AnyDVD or another ripping software when I use Fab and Imgburn for everything. With that said it was not necessary for me to go back to 6.0.7.0, I used the latest one 6.1.1.8 and used the same process and it worked.

Was able to sucessfully burn Transformers 2 with 4 programs: RipIt4me (1.7.0.0)using the 1 click mode (movie only), with Any DVD 6.5.9.5 running in the background, Dvd decrypter, and finally burned it with DVD Shrink. Allow Any DVD to read the Transformers 2 disc. Open RipIt4me & chose 1 click mode, then movie only. It will eventually open up Dvd Decrypter. Choose decrypt and allow it to work it's magic. After Dvd decrypter is done, Dvd Shrink will open, make sure you have a blank 4.7 GB disc in & click backup. You will need approx 10 GB of free space when you start this whole ordeal, as Dvd decrypter needs temporary space, as well as Dvd shrink. I did this & had no problem. Didn't have to go to title 47 or anything like that & all chapters were in order.

I used this approach to rip it to my hard drive
at this point I dropped it into DVD Shrink

DVD Shrink Read the file as unreferenced material but it still recognized the movie. It wouldn?t let me re-author the disc [control the default streams]

I then processed the file in VOB Blanker.
Re-entered the file into DVD Shrink
DVD Shrink then recognized the file as a movie file & I was able to enter the re-author mode & control the default streams [I set the default on the sub-titles to ?hide?] & get a successful burn.
