Allow Any DVD to read the Transformers 2 disc. Open RipIt4me & chose 1 click mode, then movie only. It will eventually open up Dvd Decrypter. Choose decrypt and allow it to work it's magic. After Dvd decrypter is done, Dvd Shrink will open, make sure you have a blank 4.7 GB disc in & click backup. You will need approx 10 GB of free space when you start this whole ordeal, as Dvd decrypter needs temporary space, as well as Dvd shrink. I did this & had no problem. Didn't have to go to title 47 or anything like that & all chapters were in order. When I tried the other methods mentioned before in previous posts, the movie only burned 1/2 way through. So, if you have used one of those particular methods & have only checked to see if it will play, you may want to see how far it played.

Thats a pretty long process there buddy 0.o
Anydvd OR perhaps Dvdfab is all you need then your Transcoder/encoder...And then of course your burning engine. Imgburn for the win! :D

Having no luck trying to copy Transformers 2. Read other posts and it says to rip in ANYDVD. I have the newest version 6.5.9.5 and when I try to rip it to harddisk it says my drive is not ready. In Clone DVD all I get is it has copy protection. How do I copy this? Or do I have to wait for ANYDVD to come up with a solution? Need some help and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Drive is not ready? Im not sure which device that pertains to. Either your Harddrive or your Optical drive. If it means your harddisk, then its possible you don't have enough disk space. But if that were the case, I would think it would tell you exactly that. Perhaps its some kind of Optical drive problem. Did you try ripping from another drive? Or do you only have 1?
Are you sure you selected the proper device to Rip FROM? Because if you select a drive that has no disc, it will give you that error. If you have selected the right device, and your sure the disc is in there, then your Rom could have a problem reading discs. I would recommend a lite-on...

JUST FOR FUN:
I "De-fur the Feline to the Bone in less that 60 minutes" Using the RipIt4me Process:
RipIt4me: "Movie Only"
DVD Decrypter
Shrink: To compress the 4,648MB to around 4,300MB 'n' Deep Analysis.
DVD Decrypter to Bur.

My Transformer Back-up using RipIt4me method (1 Click Mode and Full DVD):
Come-Out "BETTER" but it takes longer since you need to "Automatically Ignore Read Errors" and compress another 111MB to get the ISO File ready to burn !

Can anyone explain how new DVDs can come out with new types of encryption but yet the players are still able to play them? DVD players don't go on the web to get updates of new encryption methods, so I would think the newer DVDs would have to stay the same in how they get encrypted.
thanks

Now I could be wrong but the encryption has no factor to playing on a DVD player. If the region changed that's a different story.....encryption is a security feature to protect against copying the movie not viewing it......the new encryption method was released to prevent people from copying new movies.....obviously it didn't work out too well.....hope this helps

1. Remove disk
2. Boot dvdfab and goto settings and then pathplayer and disable it.
3. put disk in and select main movie.
4. when all the movies pop up select title 47
5. you might get errors but just hit ignore all and keep ignoring them.
6. hit the next button when it pops up (might take bit)
7. it should eventually start ripping.
(if you get some errors before it starts ripping just hit ignore all)
Thanks to paschal93 for the info.
Unfortunately didn't work for me. 6.0.7.0 crashes my computer while it's initially checking the disc regardless of what PathPlayer setting I use. It freezes up, I then have to ctrl-alt-delete to close it, and then Windows doesn't see my dvd drive until I reboot. Guess I need to wait a few days for an update.
This worked for me! Thanks!!

Transformers has been one of the very few ( 3-4 )movies that i have not been able to copy.
I am guessing that although i am using AnyDvd 6.5.9.5, the newest CloneDvd as well as DVD decrypter and dvd region free as well as DVD Shrink. rip4me AND am still not able to make a copy of that movie MY GUESS is that most of my problems are that my DVD's ( Optical drives) are 1-2 years old and they are having a hard time really reading the disks as they should. They, the Optical drives, ate Liteon.... Does anyone have a suggestion as to what DVD Drives might be better @ brand and model.
Although i can easily play the movie on my PC i have thus far been unable to copy it.
If it were easy then everyone would be doing it so i guess that those that make the movies want to throw in a new copy protection every now and then... All i and 99.9999% of us want to do is back up the movies that we already went out and bought so that we dont scratch the original.
Any hints/ suggestions other than what has already been posted would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I'm having the same problem as Dallas. I have the latest versions of AnyDVD and CloneDVD and when I try to rip to the hard drive I have the "device not ready" error. I've tried this on my Sony and my Lite-On burners.

No, my knowledge on optical drives is quite out of date now. However i can tell you that it's wise to have more than one optical drive, not all are equal. I have a few different makes of opticals, an ancient LG 4480B DVD-Rom/combo drive that can read virtually anything, an LG 4167B burner, 2 LG H66N burners and a few Benq DW1650 burners.
The 4480B is by far the best ripper, it has the most success, though now and again a disc comes along (both brand new and old discs) that won't read on one drive but won't read on another. I very rarely power on the DW1650's these days (the other drives are sufficient) so basically i can rip anything out there with a combination of the other 3 drive makes.

mattbatb, sounds like the problem is the one DVD player. a couple things you might try
1. use Tayio Yuden media
2. burn at 8x max
3. don't burn right the the edge of the DVD
4. replace the DVD player

DvdFab with pathplayer turned off, main movie, title set 47 will rip.
From there, process through VobBlanker, DvdRebuilder (due to the compression necessary) and burn with Imgburn.
Done!
I only used DVDFab 6.1.1.8 and Imgburn and it compressed just fine.

could be your dvd player in your room just doesn't work well with the particular brand of media you are using. In the past i had been given a bunch of TDK dvd-r and they were fine on any dvd player except the one at work, changed back to Verb's and have never had a problem.. only with those TDK's.

I am somewhat confused at how some are using anydvd, clone, along with a bunch of other programs together, all you need is clone anydvd, why are some people using others combined with those two which is all you need, if you are using others to combine with anydvd that I understand, but not if you are using clone and anydvd.
The other fellow says clone does not recognize his drive, make sure you assign your drive or drives, if you don't know how, click on browse on clone, make sure you have the movie dvd in your drive, after browse click on my computer, there you will see the name of the movie, click on that an you will now be assigned.
I have both my drives assigned to it, F my reader, E my writer, I eliminate all the crap, let the reader read and the writer write, it takes a couple clicks it reads and writes on it's own, nothing more to do till it's over.
