Hey all,
I got a fat PSP, currently running CFW 3.52 M33. Before I had FW 1.5 and ran several emulators, including NesterJ, however, none of them are working now. Is there something I need to do to be able to run these again, or am I SOL now?
This is why we can't have nice things.

i changed it, and after that i did the update to 3.52 M33-4.
and i can now update it to 3.90 :D
the only problem is that is said. battery has to be atleast 76% full.
So now i just have to wait some little more, and than (hopefully) i can upgrade it finally,

Just updated from 3.40 OE-B to 3.52 M33-4 - all went well
Selected 3.90 from MUX2.0
LED flashed for 5-6 seconds and then I exited
So far so good.
When I select PSP update 3.90, I get the following message:
Unpacking... done.
390.PBP doesn't exist.
Do you want to download it from the internet (x=yes, R=no)
I selected No.
I have reformatted my MS (4Gb) and copied acrosss the One Stop update again.
I went back through the instructions from the MUX step and I still get the same message.
3.52 kernel is selected in recovery menu.
Anyone got any ideas ?

yes, i know whats wrong, i hate the same error,
you need to click yes (x)
than, if you have the write settings in the menu ( that you get if you hold R ( on the top right of the psp ) it will download, and you are finishd.
so you just need to download it.

Make sure your selecting 3.90 M33 first not 3.90 M33-2. You need to install 3.90 M33 before installing 3.90 M33-2 update.

Thanks - now got a new baby boy called 3.90 M33-2 :)
I actually made a mistake (not followed instructions properly!) and did not update to 3.52 M33-4.
So to sort out the problem I installed:
1. 3.52 M33-4 (clicked on the 3:33:33 icon)
2. 3.90 M33
3. 3.90 M33-2
Thanks for helping.
One final question:
To tidy (i.e. delete) files on my memory stick what can I delete ?
- should I do it from the PC or from the XMB menu ?

Higher firmware.
More options available.
Simple enough?
Plus I would appreciate if you ask this in your own thread. Comments should be made about the guide and issues you may be having with it.

This isnt the right thread to post. U are goin to need a pandora's battery. Go to google and search for "pandora battery for slim". Learn somethin , then start a new thread.

I guess it may depend on how new your SLIM is. If the same as for my 2 month new SLIM, you may need to use an older SLIM or any FAT to enable or disable the Pandora battery (see other tread) so you can unbrick it to 3.71/M33-2.
I dont believe you can go further back to 3.52 cfw from 3.71 exploit on a slim. but you can go all the way up to 3.90/M33 then M33-2.

I haven't changed the location of the files at all after I updated the CFW. It's in X/PSP/GAME where it was before.
I'm using uo_Snes9x & NesterJ Emulator 1.20beta2 and it gave me the error "8002014C" message.
This is why we can't have nice things.

NVM. I read around and moved the folders to PSP/game150.
Thanks for the help though!
Now if I can only get Patapon to work... =\

You need to update to 3.52 M33-4 if you want to update to a higher firmware above that.

hey everybody I finally decided to update my CFW for my psp to the latest one. However, the problem I have is I could not download the part 1 from mediafire. It keeps saying site not working or when I do download I get 0 KB download. Can you put up a mirror site please?
edit.. nvm I got it to work again after 6 hrs. But I think you should put up a mirror site anyway just in case something like this happen again.
