Haven't got one to hand, but I have not heard anyone complain at all about any problem glitchs, check your signal level, as to high a signal level will cause you to have a bit of pixelation and picture problems, maybe it is high, around the 80 - 82% is about right, if ir is higher then you might try an attenuator, I personally use a 6db and a 10db, about a quid in Maplins. Sorry I can't help anymore than that, but I think that Hiteck might have one and could give you more information as regards your problem, karlid and obviously scOuser.
EDIT:- As karl said overleaf, try the latest firmware, should have mentioned that.

I have checked the signal while the freezing was happening and have seen the signal at 85 -86% so that might be the problem. I have an attenuator already so I'll connect that and see if it fixes the problem. I'll let you know if it sorts it.

yeah should be no problem,never seen seperate firmware for both countries for eurovox.ps 85%-86% should be perfect.

Hi guys can somebody tell me how I can change a rar file to a bin file.
My computer is screwed up and everytime I download the update to flash my Eurovox box it keeps reading invalid file.
I use the DnUpMan v4.0 to load the firmware to my box but can't seem to change the file so that it wil accept it.
I have in the past just pasted it to teh box and loaded it but for some reason it wont accept it.
I think the problem started when I tried to open an earlier file and used explorer by mistake. Now everytime I download a fix it automatically saves it to explorer.
I have been into properties but cant seem to be able to change it.
Any help would be great!

you will need winrar to extract that file

You have the box on standby haven't you, and you are using the correct firmware for the box, now make sure you have a little patience when it says "downloading failed" wait for a little while before doing anything else as this is common and usually changes to "Successfull" and are you using a NULL MODEM lead on;y or an adaptor with it.

hi malci box is about to be put through window witout opening it. i've got the right cables 232 null modem and also usb adaptor i,m using my mates old laptop with xp have tried with null modem cable alone all i get is no port available just tried again with adaptor downloading has failed has been on about 40 mins this cant be right surely and the box eurovox max v is on standby

Hi Guys
I flashed a eurovox blue box with new firmware but keep getting error all it comes up with is c908 on the box, no picture or anything, any ideas what this means n how to fix it, tried flashin it a couple of times n same thing happens.. :(

Gazza, it is only a flying visit, I am having a hell of a lot of trouble at this end, only just managed to get on, so sorry about not getting back to you - all I can suggest at the minute is you delete the firmware you have and download again. PC picked up trojans/spyware, have to get off.

@ sewsunker.. By an amazing coincidence that just happened to me while I was re flashing a box. Anyway I just did a factory reset and powerscan and it was sorted. I was in a hurry - so may not be the quickest solution but at least it worked

Hi guys, I just flashed a Eurovox Max blue with the latest S/W (30/11/08) but in the box info on the box it shows as 1st june 07 but i put sky sports 1 on and it updated fine, I dont have setanta sports though, i have tried a rescan aswell it found the channel but wont work says "Service Unknown" this also happens with ArsenalTV ect so i think its the PPV channels, i live in Manchester EX C&W area, i did try looking at the area codes symbol rates file i downloaded from 1st page but i cant open it lol.
Any help guys please?
