Doc someone should benefit from the countless hours I spent trying to get it to work. At one point I started hearing moans of "not DareDevil"again. After racking my brains out trying to get it, it turned out that there was a bug in DVDremake.

Sophocles ... I definitely benefited from your trials with DareDevil. Thanks for the hints - they were invaluable. One thing that threw me, was the initial discussion about 12 angles? I see now that it was 4 X 3, and 3 X 3. I was just adding the 4 + 3.

I had to pull my 14 YO over and show him the Pink Head. He laughed as much as I did. I suspect he is going to use it later on with his buds.

It isn't the destination that's important, it's the voyage. Learning to overcome complicated obstacles ultimately benefits everyone and is time well spent.

I have no multi-angles DVD in my collection. My Remake experience, to date, has gone without incident. I think I will have to try and locate a good example to experiment with.

Well, even my 14 YO is showing a little taste right now. I just showed him the DD backup, and he wasn't impressed. 'Said he probably wouldn't use it or the original. And said I owed him a new video for talking him into buying DareDevil with his lawn mowing money!!! He's talking like I scammed him.

Don't worry, his taste will continue to get worse, he's a teenager.

Bloody hell guys, your "changing-images-in-signature-game" is pretty cool, but I bet all of you are on broadband. LOL :D

For someone on a slow connection, the images would take more than one minute to load. :)

You have to have a sig to make that kind of comment. LOL

I think that if one read into the journey close enough they could see it as being analogous to a long and pleasant foreplay. Now which one would your significant other prefer, the journey or the destination?

I have news on the Remake/Rebuilder 0003/0004 errors.
I had the error on The Matrix and Starship Troopers 2 (blech!). I could backup Matrix by splitting the INLV cells but not removing the extras. Starship could also be backed up if you left the extras.

I finally had the time to play more with Remake on these movies.
If you remove the menu in the main title for the extas you hid and hide the buttons leading to them on the opening main title menu then the errors go away.

I'm so happy!

Thank you for sharing that, everytime we find a hurtle we learn to jump it. We need to start archiving our successes or recipes if you will, so that we can share them by title.

If this method does what I hope on other movies then it may be my last hurdle on rebuilder for a while.

I like the hide button's feature too who needs access to French, Spanish, or Japanese content unless you speak it, and for multi angles the strip all angles function. I've found that if you can just get past whatever it is that's preventing the backup then that might be enough, some times less is more.

Sophocles
This is a good idea. I second the motion!!! How would that be done here at AD??? Also, my crystal ball says that over the next year we'll be seeing a lot more people trying the Remake/RB-CCE route. The only thing that might get in the way of this would be dl media at $3.00 or less a disc (my own estimation)).

@ Sophocles. (As far as my son's taste devolving any further, should I expect a linear or exponential digression??? I may have nightmares tonight thinking about either one.)

@Big-O. WinDVD 6 looks real nice. Not very intuitive, though. IV said they were going to send a manual with the download, but didn't. I've got to find a way to go to school on this one. That's OK though, just one more thing to juggle into the mix!!!

@64026402. I like the lamp. I wish I had found it first.
