Some people....
Well, that's the disadvantage to the net. Seems like any decent discussion is eventually trounced on by some kid who's out to prove how cool he is.
Anyway, let's just get back on topic. I've given up trying to convince anyone that HD DVD games not only won't happen, but wouldn't really be better, so I'll just leave that alone. You've got your opinion, I've got mine; we can leave it at that.
But with E3 next week, we're very likely to see/hear some official H3 info in 7 days. I don't want to see an in game level, just an announcement trailer or maybe an MP map.

Microsoft have already announced it. They are holding a press release and some in game footage in 7 days time. (approx)

oh crap! i forgot all about E3! there will definatly be some good halo 3 info there because if there is none, i will give up all faith in Bungie. put i hope they confirm 50+ online players at a time!

yeah i heard that the single player was ment to be thousands (50 acually) of halo players playing at once. that would be amaysing but i dout that would happer cz you wouldnt be able to play the game without xbl and in a few years time no one will be playing single player online.
erm but hopfully you could have 50 people in a game lobby (and all lag like hell lol)

I think its 64 player. But obviously that hasnt been confirmed. Also I doubt that it will because of the problems involved, you mentioned lag for one. Not to mention the size of the maps, and the fact that no other 360 game has that many players indicates that it isnt possible.

Yeah, I saw that, but that doesn't officially confirm it. As it says, MS didn't confirm or deny the rumor. So it definitely could be true, but it's not 100% guaranteed.

Yeah, there's no reason it won't be coming; seeing as how they've had 16+ months of development time, they should have something to show.
BTW, do you do any web design, or did you just buy that domain as an investment?

Yeah, I've been working on a halo site, but unfortunately, I'm not too skilled at web dev (at least not yet), so it wouldn't make sense for me to spend a lot on a domain.

lmao creaky thx for sorting it out . now back to halo 3 its true as i said it in the past ( even whith halo2) i wouldnt belive anything untill i see it officaly how? i saw the halo 2 video around the first of nov..... so in halo 3 i wont belive 1/3 of what everyone is saying including buingie and ms untill i see the video or the game.....
but i am pretty sure that a video will be presented on E3 how long i dont know but so far they say 2 mins... let find out this may 9th.....

Wow, some people will do anything for attention, and the only way they can get it is by swearing and making silly comments at other people on the internet.
Anyways,
Does anyone else read the bungie weekly updates. With Halo 3's almost obvious excistence you can tell they're talking about it, well maybe its just me. Just take a look at some things they say and you can realate it to Halo as being their next project.
I'm here in australia and there was a good show on Discovery Channel last year where they went to E3 but its not on anymore. I think its on MTV as well but we dont get that channel with our FOX package. If there is any news of Halo 3 there I guees Ill have to see it on the net, and with my stupid dial-up connection I dont think ill be able to watch the trailer if there is one! :(

Yeah, it's seems as if they've been hinting at Halo 3 in the weekly updates, and it does sound great. Frankie said last week that he played a couple of missions, a "test" mission, and an actual in-game mission, and that the AI is great. I wonder what exactly will be shown. Will it just be a conservative little announcement trailer, like the H2 trailer from August 02, or will it be on the mind-blowing level of the E3 03 demo? But they have had 16 months (leaving a couple months after H2 release for vacation) of development time, so there definitely should be some fully playable missions.

Bungie have been mentioning their next project quite a lot, but as of yet there is no evidence that suggests that it is Halo 3 they are working on (from the updates).

if you have the channel G4, than your in luck. G4 is renowned as the official gamers channel.
they do the best casting of E3. they go to everything and find you want you want to know the
most, and they get as close as it gets to it all. they will be covering the ps3, wii, halo 3 if
delivered, and anything else there cool.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

yes, G4 does the best job out of all stations, however, i dont get G4 in my city so i have to rely on places like IGN, afterdawn, and magazines to get my info.
