resolved issue with online play and fliptop. I went out a got ncaa 2004 and used the original to set up my lynksys usb network adapter and saved setting to memory card. That was it now i use that same profile for all my online games a workd great.

I am having problems playing MVP Baseball 2003 backup. Do I need to patch the disc or is it the dvd r brand I am using. I used a Maxell DvD-r brand. Would you recommend this type of dvd-r or something else

You don't need to do any patching. Maxell is pretty good, I use it for my cd-r backups, but there are better brands out there that you might want to try such as Fujifilm, Memorex, or Ritek. However, it might not be the brand of dvd-r your burning to, it may be the way your burning the game. Make sure you burn an image file to the HD first and the burn speed is at the lowest speed possible.

DVD Decrypter is great for ripping/writing ps2 dvd games. I was a little shocked that High Heat 2004 is on a cd, but it is.

To th edude having problems with MVP, try using DVD Decrypter. I've been playing that game quite a bit and backed up my copy with no problems using DVD Decrypter.

MetalEd, I have had zero problems with MVP2003. I also backed mine up with DVDDecrypter. Just be sure to rip and burn at the slowest speed possible. That brand of blanks should work fine. good luck

Everybody seems to be buying from Saveware at
http://www.fliptopcover.com

It is $33.95 for the combo, a little cheaper and fast 2 day USPS Priority Shipping. They have a secure shopping basket ordering system.

my biggest problem is that saveware is located by Chicago and I live in British Columbia, Canada. So I figure shipping will probably cost a ton and it may take a long time to arrive.
