Hi Thanks for the info eveyone,tho I havent read all 46 pages,whoa!! that would take ages!!!
Just wanted to know whats the best website to get the PS2 flip-top cover and swap discs?

It says on http://www.ps2cover.com that in order to play ps1 backups u need a gameshark,this true? (tho I dont really think ill play ps1 games,lol).
Also the swap discs are:cd version is 3.0 and dvd version is 2.0,when will these discs be next updated? cos I don't wannna get it,then the next day theres new ones out,:0)

But the DVD version is still 2.0 right? when will that become 3.0?

there won't be a 3.0 cause its compatible with all PS2 cause the most read for ps2 is DVD

Can anyone help me out. I need instructions for using my fliptop and SMD's with my Gameshark version 2. I have a version 4 ps2.At least I think it's a version 4. It had the 8 screws for the fliptop. The model # is scph-3001 r .Thanks in advance.

true there are few cd based games to note, the only I even play is the sims and risk. other than that the main reason to have the cd smd is for use with CDLoader because you need the cd smd to boot CDLoader. if you dont know CDLoader is needed to boot double protected games like Soul Calibur.

thanks for the info where can you get A CDLoader disc or whatever it is your talking about thats kinda weird that sims is a cd based game it seems pretty big

cd loader is avalible for download from below and the first game "the sims" is cd based but the new "bustin out" is dvd based

Gameshark 2 doesn't work with a Flip Top for DVD format back-ups. How ever it does work for CD format games couse I used it before. You will need to use Swap Magic with your Flip Top for DVD/CD format games.

Hi I have looked at a few websites for getting the ps2 cover + discs,but I live in Spain and I was wondering which would be the best for me! some of them you have to register to purchase,and I dont want to register then find out they dont deliver to spain.
Apreciate any help,thanks.
p.s. on http://www.gocybershop.ca/product_details.asp?ID=1900 theres a ps2 combo with discs,but are they version 3.0 discs or 2.0? and also if anyone knows if they deliver to europe?

Do you have any trouble getting online with any of your back-ups. I can seem to get any of my back-ups to go online? Like Ex: SOCOM II, MOH Rising Sunz?
