I'm really new to this so please don't get mad. When you said open the UMDDAX2DUMPER02 application, does that mean to go to my PSP and then go to games and then start the application UMD DAX DUMPER Beta 0.2? Well, if that's what it is that's what i actually did but my computer did not detect the FOUND NEW HARDWARE wizard. I even tried this to my other comp just to check if it's just my connection. Please help me. I need to make backups of my games in my pc.

Ok, I got to the point where i'm suppose to save the name "psp" on the C:\....\bin folder, when i clicked on save, the "inf-wizard.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close" window popped up. it does this everytime i try to save it.

Thanks for the help. I think i was able to figure it out myself, hopefully. What i did was that i did not change the name to psp when i was about to save it. I just left the default "your_file" inside the box and it kept it. It did not give me an "encountered a problem" window. So far so good right now. I'm in the process of loading the file in my pc. Another question, do i have to this each time i have to rip a game to my pc or is just this one time? Thanks in advance..

i assume it's just one time. Also, i tried saving it as 'your_file' and it didnt work for me. If it does for you, Talon, post it.
God, now i cant even get the driver window to come up.. And i tried dumping for it to start, and it just froze.
There has to be an easier way to use this program!

One last thing. I?m not trying to beat on you here Hodge, but why are the .dll files in different folders from their respective programs? It makes no sense that I have to move files around to get them to work.

when ever i run the UMD DAX Dumper Beta 0.2 it never pops up saying that the pc has detected the PSP TYPE B device.
With the program DAX ZISO, it has the DAXZISO.INI file which instructs it's homebrew to use the usbhostfs.prx
What does the UMD Dax Dumper Beta 0.2 have like that?
