awesome post!!
I first had a bit of problem with the GAME150 folder, but it worked (made an error myself)... Just make SURE you READ the guide, and read the posts.. A lot of "problems" i had were solved by questions previously asked.
Great guide! 532/10! :D

is it possible to downgrade from 2.82 to 2.71 and then downgrade to 1.5??

Can someone clarify what files can be deleted AFTER the upgrade to 3.02b is done?
For simplicity, can I simply format the memory card and then create the /PSP/GAME150 folder and copy the OEB_UPDATE files over?

A few Questions
1)Can I format my mem stick after i have upgraded to 3.02OEb?(already did)
2)I don see this game150 in the game folder do i create it or am i missing something?
3)must I still use a UMD to play iso games?
4)must I still need to install Dev 0.51 to play some iso games?
5)must i change any settings on the background (on + R)eg default is 3.02 kennel ,must I change it to 1.5 kennel

Ok, first post and completly typical noob question to go with it.. The PSP I'll be hacking is not mine, its m little brothers. If I downgrade and then up grade to 3.02OE-B, will he still be able to stick in his UMD games/films and play away with no problems?

The downgrade and upgrade doesn't affect the psp function to play normal umd games or films so you don't have to worry.

I just downgraded the psp to FW1.5 from 2.71, was wondering, can I just upgrade it to OE-B without upgrading it to OE-A from 1.5 first?, thx in advance

nope you need to upgrade it to OE-A before you can update to OE-B... the more complicated part is updating to OE-A after that OE-B is more like side step since it doesn't take more then ten seconds

im looking for the easiest way to emulate isos,
when im on OE-B where do i put isos on my ms and how do i run them?
My psp's life 2.71->2.80->1.50->3.02OE-A->3.02OE-B->3.40 OE-A->3.52m33->3.52m33-2->3.52m33-4

well, I used the eazy installer for the OE-A, installed perfectly, as well as the recovery, now though there is no GAME150 Folder, what did I do wrong, this answer was replied by (turn to 1.50 Kernel from recovery, which I can see on the psp, but what exactly do I do after? thanks a lot in advance

Just create an "ISO" file at the root (next to the video's and pictures files) and put the iso files into that file.. then it should appear under the games ms...

you have to create a new folder and name it GAME150... and remember to leave the GAME file alone because that file is need (even if you leave it empty)...Then just put the update into that new created file

Ok so im up to 3.02a and i dont have the game150 folder but i created it in the game folder and then placed the oeb_update in it. but when i go to run it it is corrupted. Now I tried just placing it in the game folder and its atleast able to run on the psp but im afriad i might mess something up. Also im confused about the setup weather im supposed to have it as 1.50 or 3.02 after holding R on startup? Can anyone please clarify these instructions.

I'm Bricked :-(
Bricked after downgrader asked to press "X" to continue following completing 100% writing (of 1.5FW i believe).
Now, screen stays black, power light stays on green.
Peleep.
Bricked TA-082 2.71. Previously perfectly working with Hen D & Devhook 0.52.

try taking your battery out and putting it back in and also try to hit the screen button on the psp

Please help 2 questions.
1 Trying to run an EBOOT getting “game could not be started (8002014C)” screen.
Please advise. 2 different ones same result.
I have tried to toggle the 1.5 and the 3.03 in the recovery screen without success.
2. Need a place to understand the ISO or POPSTATION method of running a UMD I simply can not figure this out.
Thanks you for the help I am rather new at this PSP.
