Do you know how this works? I have tried many times with all the themes it comes with, but to no avail! I enter the program press flash, it flashes, I quit, and it is just the normal XMB. Any help?

You really shouldnt be so impatiant =\ eventually one WILL be released its just takes awile because sony's newer mobo's and firmwares are more secure. Now ur just gonna have to wait an additional couple months for the downgrader for 3.40.
And if i had to guess the downgrader would be from 3.40 to 3.03 and then you would have to use the GTA umd, but ofcourse thats just speculation.

Yeah thats what a couple of my friends did, i believe the reason there is no downgrader is becuase the developers are waiting for PSP's with 3.10/3.11/3.30/3.40 to become standard to buy so when people get a PSP almost everyone will be able to downgrade. Right now PSP's available seem to be firmwares 2.80 to 3.10 and newest stock are 3.30 and 3.40. So i think once 2.80-3.0X are rare, developers will announce a downgrader. Im really not sure if it works this way or not though..

Hi guys downloaded 3.04 oea n works fine was so easy took about 4 mins !!!!!!!!
however y does it say in the read me 'after running this easy installer. Run the firmware update... that simple' wat the hell is this ?? it already says in my system settings that it is 3.04oea ??
also how do i get rid of them gay corrupted data icons n can i now delete the 3.40 installer ????

ignore the firmware update and delete the files yes but i would keep them just incase u might need them to reflash it

i have just put this on you psp now i have a system software 3.40oe-a
is this ok because a first i had a 1.5 now i have 3.40e-a
can i still play backup games on my psp if not how can i get back to 1.5

You don't want 1.50. 3.40 OE-A is 1.50 and 3.40 + it totally unlocks your PSP by being able to play all homebrew apps & games, modding the XMB and playing backups/ISO's of PSP games.
You can also play downloaded PS1 games.

hey guys me again.
before i had 3.40ea i had 1.5 n i was running liberty city stories fine once i had changed the settings in devhook but now im running 3.4 oea it runs really laggy how do i change the settings????

Hold the R button while your turning on your PSP. You should see a menu with a light blue background. Go to CPU Speed and turn it up in UMD/ISO to 222 or 266. I don't recommened going any higher because you won't notice much of a difference, but your battery will run out much faster if you turn it up to 300 or 333.

Where do I put this file?
In the root folder?
In the PSP folder?
In the GAME folder?
I've tried in all those locations and can never find anything when I go into the PSP.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Right, but where do I put the 340oeEasy file that I've downloaded onto my 1.5 PSP?
When I connect my PSP to my computer it's drive F:
So do I put it in the root of drive F:?
Or do I put it in the PSP folder?

Well I figured out that I need to run it from the computer. (I was trying to run it from the PSP before)
But when I run it from the computer it says "connect your psp to your computer." (my psp is clearly connected to the computer since I have the F: showing)

You save the Winstaller to your computer.. then run it and put your PSP in USB mode and let it install. Thats why it is a Easy installer.
