0000. But there shouldn't be a default password on parental control. Are you sure your parents didn't set it long time ago? Because I believe the parental control thing won't reset even from firmware upgrade. Maybe one of your friend did it to ya when you are not looking...

#1: 2.81 -> 3.03 -> 3.11 DoH (no more :D)
#2: 1.00 -> 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c
#3: Ceramic white 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c -> 3.40oe
Whatever happens, happens...

there is any one of those setting for 3.40 OE-A that could change from ghame to game or from psp to psp?! cuz many of my game are still not loading...for example:

- pes 2007: 2 isos, both hang on the black screen after psp logo.
- championship manager 2007: hangs after i press start to play it.
- kilzone liberation: hangs into black screen after the productor logo, but i can hear the audio.

any ideas?!

There are several places to get games-One I use is isohunt, because it is a search engine for all the other torrent sites..But you need a program to actually download the iso's-
Yes, in most cases you need to have a game UMD inserted for iso games to work off of your memstick. And it doesnt matter the game, as long as its not a UMD movie...
thanks dude that really helps you rock!!
oh yea i downloaded call of duty but wat luck i had it was in some weird language.
so i downloaded shrek smash and crash racing, but when i play one race it turns the psp off. why?

I would bump your processor speed up to 300 or 333MHZ and see if that helps..That games lags even on the actual UMD-Too much stuff going on in that game I guess..

You may have an incomplete iso that is causing your psp to shut off like that, or try increasing your processor speed in the recovery console..If that doesn't help, consider downloading a different iso...probably a bad rip.

By running the eboot,that is what you use to revert back to 1.5 firmware in case you semi-brick...

Thats because you dont have an eboot in the update folder-It wont do anything but restart your psp for now..Not until you add the 1.5 recovery eboot will it actually do anything..

I had the same problem trying to play the Metal Slug Anthology iso (psp hangs without booting the game) but now I got it to work. I tried trimming the filename down. Originally it was named "Metal Slug Anthology [USA][UMDFull][English][PSP][www.emwreloaded.com].iso" so I just renamed it to "Metal Slug Anthology.iso" and it booted right up. Apparently there is a limitation in the length of filenames. I tried it with a Gundam game that was giving me the same problem and it also worked. Try it out.

Yes, good point there...I think the limit is 15 characters for filenames, and most downloaded games have long-winded titles like that so they show up in search results better..

Change it to 222 or 266 mHz in the recovery menu, 300 and 333 will heat up and eat up your battery, and you are not gaining anything.

ok this is what really happens when you use emulators its optional to make it go the correct cpu speed. but with an ISO like Grand Theft Auto it's really better to use 333 cpu speed. But it's toatally up to whoever wants it how they want.

agreed..I find that games that are graphically intense seem to run much better when you have the processor speed kicked up to 300 or 333mhz..The PSP is designed for that otherwise they would not have put in such a processor..And who cares about battery life, thats why it comes with a charger-Plus,they also have the extended-life batteries as well if need be.

Not really... The only time my battery really drains is when I play UMD's. Playing ISO and Emulators last much longer for me.
