Please can someone help me.
I have read this a number of times and still cannot understand where the "VCC" lead is connected. I know 1 end is connected to cap 40. Where is the other end connected. It is not mentioned on the simple jtag diagram.
Hi LastCuban, you don't connect vcc to anything, not if you are using the simple jtag cable, like you are

No files on Eamos anymore due to a complaint :-(

hi guys

Is there a new version of the software for the Starview boxes and if so s it worth installing the new version. I have not been around for a few days so have missed quite a bit

hi mate. there is only new software for ' the box'
original sv still uses v4.00e.
which do u have ?

Is the title "the box" an original Starview box or a clone because thats what it comes up on the screen as soon as i switch the box on.

no the two are different the box is different from Starview where did you get it from and how long have you got it

I got mine from a website called "wizard satellite". It was advertised as Starview 2, but the packaging says "the box". What firmware would i need for this to pick up all the channels.

yes you have the box not the Starview and make sure when you put software on it you get the right one as they are different files are you having problems with it

Fergus mate, im having problems, you probably remember me from last night asking so many questions. Its just been a total nighmare so far, i cannot pick up any channels, got the right connections, etc but it doesnt pick anything up, got the EMU on and everything. can someone provide me with the right firmware for "the box". I dont understand why it was advertised as Starview 2 though.

ok can you go to the menu and scroll down to specifications and tell me what firmware is on it and we will take it from there also what area are you in uk ireland and provider is N** or C*****
