right, i hope someone is still reading this thread.
i followed the guide to upgrade from oe FW to the 3.52 m33-4 fw. so far so good. then tried to update to 5.00 m33-4 (thanx!). thing is, everytime i try it says that the file is not present and askes me if i want to connect to the internet to download it.
the problem is that my internet connection is only good for posting and reading email, not downloading.
is there any way someone can help me get the files i need to upgrade to FW 5.00 m33-4, and then possibly tell me where um supposed to put them in order for them to work? (or am i doing something wrong andn teh psp should not ask me to download the file?)
im still fairly new to this scene of PSP CFW, so any help would be appreciated.
thanx
...whatever

Connect your PSP to your PC with a USB cable (alternatively you can put your memory stick on a card reader). Go to My Computer, open the Memory Stick (should be shown as Removable Disk) and you will see a folder named "ISO" -- this is where you must put your iso files.
After putting the iso files there, launch the game my going to
Game --> Memory Stick on your XMB

Hi Ggoblin
I really appreciate u getting back to me so quick. In my memory card i see 3 folders
GAME
GAME150 (it doesnt spell out iso)
System
i placed the game into the game150 folder presuming thats where it goes and when i do swtich on my psp it isnt there. the game where i got it from is an eur.psp the type of file is called magicisodoucment (needforspeed.underground.eur.psp), am i getting the game in the right format?

I looked at my system setting and the firmware is 3.52 m33-4 is it compatable for playing homebrew games?

Probably means that you have to go to Recovery Menu and change a few settings.
Press R1 when turning PSP on.
Go to Configuration
-you can change your homebrew Kernel here
-change UMD Mode to Sony NP9660 No UMD
when finished select 'back'
then exit

I believe you can follow the part where it says SE/OE/LE START HERE right below the "1.50 users start here"

If you have 1.50 formatted homebrews (older homebrews), then you need to install the 1.50 Add on.

Some newer games need higher firmware. So update to the latest firmware.
